I'm sure I have seen that plate on a black X5 in leamington...maybe it was B19 TOY. There's a BMW 325L I see most days with the plate 'BMW 325L'...nice! oh, and out of the two options I would go with the second one too! I was about to say iv seen that reg on a GT3 in Leamington....Is that where your boss lives g0ldf1ng3r?

Green glass paint failed for me. Best to get some Led indicators and resistors as suggested in other posts. Works a treat! Theres a pic in my threadof the tinted lights viewtopic.php?f=11&t=86035

Slightly bend the plate. Mine fitted fine with tape

Ditto. The other one doesn't make sense.[/quote:26apdaoj] Phonetically it makes more sense than the 1st one.

Bit more info... I bought it back in 2004 from a guy in Woking. Had 62K on the clock, two previous owners and full VW service history. It was completely standard and you could tell it had been well looked after. During its time with me, iv covered about 40K, so currently just above 100K which isn't bad for a car nearly 20 years old! I did go through abit of a chavy period a few years back so there were a few body mods, which now I hugely regret doing now. Anyway im happy to say the gay rear bumper and number plate recess have gone, and its back to how it should look at the rear. Engine wise I haven't done much yet apart from the usual regular services and TLC. I do have plans tho.... Let me know what you all think

Iv got one from storm on my car. It definatly works better than standard wipers but i still need to play around with it to get it sitting right. Check my members galery for pics

I haven't been a fan of Crescent ever since the original owners left. Although its very tempting as its in a great location for us! Your right about the MOT inspector tho, hes a nice chap! -
my fuse box looks slightly different. there isn't space for a fuse in the top left of it
-
Ok checked fuse 19 and its fine, but cant seem to see a fuse in the top left corner of the fuse box?! should it be next to the relays? Thanks
-
 spot on thanks both for your help
-
Where can i find the fuse for my radiator fan. It isn't kicking it when the car gets warm so thought the fuse would be the best place to start but cant find my manual to see which fuse it is. Thanks
-
How can i fix it for good? Iv got a cable tie round it for now and its fine but when it was loose the timing was all over the place!

Hi Mate Pls pm me payment details for a passenger side kit pls Thanks -
I have managed to find a pic on google. The wire in question is the one that is slightly hanging out. Mine is in a similar state, it is connected but hanging slightly loose. Could this be the reason for not starting? thanks
-
First of all pls except my apologies in my lack of engine knowledge. Iv been having trouble recently getting my car started, i think i have narrowed it down to a loose wire that connects to where the dizzi cap sits. Can someone please post up a pic of a 16v engine bay so i can point out what i mean (iv lost the lead that connects my camera to my computer) If anyone knows which wire i mean, could this be causing the car not to start? It turns over but will not fire up. Thanks

It feels like i have recently lost abit of power from my 1.8 16v. It had a full service approx 2 months ago and was sweet after that, but recently it feels very sluggish. It dosnt hesertate or anything like that when i pull off but it's definatly not nearly as quick as it was a couple of months ago. What can cause this loss of power :help: Thanks
-
Looks nice! dont suppose your selling your old grill are you?

I was looking at the exact same car about an hour ago thinking exactly the same thing!!! :D
