Not so much what I did today as the last couple of days. Spent a whole day getting the crank pulley bolt out and a couple of hours putting it all back together.
-
Yes. Fits in the centre on the ceiling. I have an up and over door so it needs an extra lift arm.
-
My garage external but on the front of my house. When I moved in I had an Exup and FJ1200 so I took a 15" grinder to the wall and cut a doorway in it so I could see the bikes from the living room. Now the bikes have gone my car goes in every night. I not only have carpet on the wall where the door opens but the floor is done front to back. Comfy in the winter!. However the best toy has to be a remote control opener bought for £80 out of the local paper. Its good to drive into the street press the button and drive straight in.

Thanks for the info. It was more a question regarding the 3 ground electrodes versus 1. It did have champion plugs in that have seen better days. The WR6DP0 plugs have made a difference.

Just been to get some new plugs from GSF. They list the W6DP0 plug for my G60 on the web but sell the new WR6DP0. Whats the difference?

VAG / Scorpion 5000 Alarm Keyfob Forgotten - Reset Procedure
Exup Man replied to Tekara's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
I had a similar problem. The alarm was working but no matter what I did the indicators would not go out. I found a couple of fuses and relay close to the alarm unit that make the indicators flash. I just pulled the fuses so the indicators went out. They still work off the storks as normal as does the alarm. -
Engine related but on my bike not in the car. The day before I was due to leave for the IOM TT festival my bike developed a rattle. I had a good listen to several places using the stethascope screwdriver trick and came to the conclusion the that one of the buckets and shims was the problem. I couldn't get the parts in time so set off thinking I'd do it there. Made the journey from the midlands to the IOM no problem but on the coast road to Douglas traveling at over 100 MPH one of the cam sprokets dropped of the cam trapped the cam chain which then snapped and fell into the sump seizing the engine. It was the biggest skid I've ever done in my life. Moral of the story never do tomorrow......

Whats the most embarrasing moment you've had in your corrado
Exup Man replied to surfer.vr6's topic in General Car Chat
Went to pick a mate's highly moded 3 door cossie from the tuners. Gave them all a load of abuse about the bulbus ugly nature of them and how they were always in the garage. Only to be struck by the dreaded ignition switch problem and had to have a push. -
I used Turtle Wax - cockpit, bumper & tyre shine. Got 3 for 2 (wax it wet is top stuff also) at Halfrauds
-
Used Turtle Wax - Wax it wet last weekend (its 2 for 3 at halfrauds). Be careful not to put too much on! It does work well.

Try these http://www.motorbikepaint.co.uk/ I used to get all my bike paint from them. I have bought LC6V paint from them so they know the codes.
-
That time of year of year again. I have been with Direct line they were the best by far last year allowed me to transfer the no claims from my bike to the Corrado as well. The price from them has gone down this year but I tried Brentcare - great bunch and Elephant online. Elephant are less than £350 fully comp with mods declared. :D :D
-
I got a good package on RS GT with Yoki's. Mine are a bit bling but you can get then in Anthracite colour.
-
Probably. I have a picture in my gallery from the day at stealth last year and I think your car is next to mine.
-
Looked at mine for a while distressed cos I can't get it it till I'm off the crutches and need to fit the bits I bought over the winter
-
LC6V? Looks fantastic in the sunshine.
-
https://www.midlandwheelsshop.com/index.php Web sites not the best and I think they started out as a mini specialist but their place is huge. I live close to this place got a bargain on some RS GT's with Yoko Sport tyres

Bikes were my main for of transport till some idiot in an XJ6 tried a bit of hit and run 3 years ago. I lost an 1" out of one leg, lots of blood and an amount of soft tissue. My leg is still broken his points come off his license next year. Anyway I was on a perfectly restored mint FZR100 EXUP at the time. -
I fitted a Milltek last year. It was the first mod after new wheels. Like the sound small issue with the CAT bypass pipe but easily resolved. I think there is a lot of history on here with regard to exhausts try here. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... 7&start=40

Another one for Aide. Prompt well packed and offer a refund if they didn't fit. Can't get better than that

One of my work mates was a rather large chap and was issued with a new company car - a Fiat Punto. He came back from lunch one day to find it had been re-badged F at Punt.

Met Blue_Joe at the MK meet yesterday, sorted me out with some suspension. It'll help me get my car back on the road looking even better. Cheer !
-
I'd thought it may be a dodgy solenoid when hot. Just waiting to get the car back on the road to give it a try. While I was looking for inspiration I found this. http://www.oichan.org/mods/starter/starter2.htm Must admit it would be nice

I now it's been a while since this post has been looked at but has there been any developments. My G60 has the same problem. I changed the ignition switch after looking at other posts. It did improve the situation but has not completely solved the issue.

First Time I've been to anything like that. Only went along because it was local. Then thought I'd put mine on to see what its like (only owned it for a couple of months). The figures I got were really pleasing. 180.8 bhp @ 5699 and 174.1 lb ft @ 4502 on the second run. As far as I know its completey standard apart from the Miltek I've just put on it. Vince said the pulley's look stanards and optimax should make it go even better! :D :D :D
