idling has been smoother since the re-map. It has a boost leak at the moment which I am trying to get a new pipe made up for so its not as smooth as it can be. £410 for the re-map. Getting the camber sorted tomorrow so hopefully it wont be too long til I take Zed back up there! Really chuffed with the results! :D

Its just got a K&N and a de-cat pipe.

Anyone know of anyone in kent that can do custom wheel alignment as im struggling to find somewhere who can set up my corrado without it being set up to standard settings and then being told to go away after and see where the tyres wear.

Cant wait to get the bits sorted and get him back up there! :)

Well, finally booked my corrado in to get mapped. A very long day, discovering 2 boost leaks and freezing our bits off in the workshop we arrived at 284bhp and 261.7 lbft :D this is with the main belt slipping due to wear and the camber need doing(which meant having to stop every 15mins to let the tyres cool down) Anywho, Wayne reckoned with a new belt and the camber sorted that Zed (my corrado) would push out circa 300bhp. :D I'll be sorting these bits out asap and getting Zed back up there as soon as I can! :D Just wanted to say a BIG thanks to Wayne for perservering throughout the day from 9am through to 9.30pm in the freezing cold and also checking we had got back ok with no problems. are you talking about the switch unit that also does the sunroof? if so then we have some flush ones for sale

the wiring is in that soft rubber tube that you can see when you open the door (hinge end) From memory I think you pull that rubber tube back and disconnect the wiring.

i think your car has had enough bodge jobs! Do it properly.

It has to be replaced with the standard cat for the mot. I got mine on the other day. I dont know about the gains to standard vr6s but for supercharged ones its fantastic! It picks up alot quicker - it goes at 3000 and again at 4000 as opposed to 4000 and again at 5000 as it did before! As for the noise difference, my other half reckons it sounds like a porsche. Fab deep burble! Probably not much help to you but i thought id share anyway :)

Where is the best place on a charged vr6 to plumb in the t-piece for a boost guage to give the most accurate reading?

sounds like a bad connection on the back of the circuit board for the temp guage. Someone been messing about with that wiring too?

aye i was on about both , i would replace both ! the headling looks like a home made job , looks as though someone has shoved a tent up there :shock: only a couple of hours to replace the whole lot, give it a clean with some vanish powershot before you put it in the headlining is rigid with a card back to it but that looks like an old duvet cover :wink: He is coming down here weekend after next to have a new headlining and sunroof panel fiited :)
