mdf rings look like this btw:

space them out with mdf rings mate (assuming depth is the problem) if its width then mdf rings *might* work depending on how tightly the mids taper in.

yeah the cheap ones are PANTS (LED ones) but you can get CCFL ones which are supposed to be a lot better. bit pricier at £80 but might be worth a blast.

any effect on lighting? Im gonna do angel ayes and think this mod would help immensly :)

I used parcelforce. booked it online and they even gave me labels to print out. then some dude comes and collects. was £38 to send 4 alloys. I may have guessed the weight a little low tho ;)

already got the carbonio so filter and decat are done. question is whats next?

Hi all - looking for a cheapish mod to make my VR go a little quicker. Anything I can do for under £100? have a carbonio intake ready to go in (using a HKS filter at the minute) and a decat. Any suggestions appreciated. cheers -pablo

whats your favourite mod that YOU have done to your C? Ill start by saying the HKS filter and decat - the sound when the car is pushed on is amazing and brings a grin EVERY time :)

I prefer beemer to be honest ;) bimmer sounds a bit like rimmer as in ass rimmer so it doesnt work for me :D

havent heard the SEAS stuff personally but they get VERY good reviews.

SEAS eh? nice ;) Ill be running minus xovers in this install. std tweets off the HU 2ch amp running alpine midbass units in custom pods (in progress now - slow going :() the std tweets arent bad and are already crossed so no hassle there. then let the auto EQ sort it all out :)

nah - if they have an attenuation setting for the tweeters then set it now to what sounds best and then its done :)
