    reverse lights done the lot :oops: cheap mod and look 100 times better than std. I only did a few coats with foliatec spray from halfords and they came up a dark orange. indicators are 100% orange which is good.

    SOLVED: was the bloody afm !!!!! put in my spare and its 100% now :D

    I might pull tha manifold off again and check all my connections. might be worthwhile cleaning that ISV thingie. Its not so much the idle thats the problem as the hesitation on the pedal before getting power. the power kind of snaps in quite harshly when you sink the boot.

    cheers for the pic mate - looks the same as I have it now :( anything else cause a low idle? must be something simple cos it was fine before the manifold came off :(

    aye i have the clip as far forward as it will go (i.e. the rubber of the cable as far back.

    dont think so the car drives 100% bar the hesitancy on first touching the throttle. will go check. does my little diagram look correct?

    yeah tried that but the cable is still slack :( it feels like i have to press the accelerator about an inch before something happens :?

    hi all - recently had the inlet manifold off and after reconnecting the car seems definately different. it hesitates to accelerate then takes off as normal. Ive noticed the throttle cable is pretty slack and wonder if I have it on right. The cable comes across the top of the circular part then hooks onto the bottom bit - pic attached. Ive tried having the adjuster as far back as it will go but still the same problem. any help appreciated. buyer coming at 8am tomorrow for it :(

    hi all my corrado has the foglights that have the black plastic surround all built in (twice the size of the lamp). I ordered some new ones from V A G but they are just the basic lamps. have I got the wrong ones or do these just bolt into the frame somehow? cheers -pablo

    lol bodyshop guys always work on a different time dimension than normal people!!! dont go see it until its finished - will probably freak you out!

    nah mate the glass is badly scratched but not in a linear way that the strip would do. looks like a kid was drawing on it with a metal crayon but i got a nice mint replacement so just a matter of popping the old one out :) thanks for the tip.

    got a replacement window for my passenger door as mine is badly scratched but not sure how to get the old one out. any tips? seems to be glued onto a big bar thats got no intention of going anywhere :( thanks -pablo
