    I noticed when checking under the bonnet recently that there is some wiring linked to the washer jets, is this for heating. If it is it dosnt seem to work because in the recent cold snap they still froze up

    just been shopping,started my car in gear causing me to nudge a shopping trolley that hit another trolley starting a chain reaction resulting in about 20 or so trolleys racing across the car park

    I totally agree with you mate I paid under £3500 for my 95 vr6 including electric cloth recaros which dont come on the storm I would not have paid an extra 2 grand just for a badge

    I was in southampton last weekend and i could get optimax for 96p a litre anyone know of any place where you can get it cheaper? in north devon it is 102p per litre

    ive tried tinting but it fades back to orange within a few months and that is with a proper tinting product

    I thought it might be interesting to find out what is the total amount spent by forum members on their cars. To start i spent just over £500 on my 16v i had for a year And in under a year i have spent £1800 on my vr6 which includes changing timing chains, clutch and a head gasket.

    Just got out of the water after surfing tonight and i thought i saw a convertible corrado pulling out of saunton sands car park could not get changed quick enough to follow are there any about or was i just seeing things?

    red vr6 spotted on a303 in the normal traffic jam just past stonehenge on saturday at about 3pm same day yellow g60 on the m5 just near junc 27 exchanged waves followed me up onto barnstaple exit, sorry i didnt realise that you parked behind me in the petrol station or i would have chatted (nice exhaust note) also in Reading on Friday saw a standard storm and a black m reg vr6 parked near the vw dealer

    i have a noisy tappet problem on my vr but curiously its quiet from cold and is only noisy when warmed up have changed oil from mobil 0/40 to magnatec 15/40 and since then it is slightly better

    i get 22mpg around town and 38mpg on a long run so that is about right
