Yeah definately The C feels so sluggish with normal unleaded so i dont tend to use it really, always go with optimax or ultimate. My car seems to be really affected by what juice is in it! I remember when i had my mk2 Golf gti 8v and when you put 4-star petrol in it, it felt like i had just unleashed another 10 or so horses! so much smoother and more torque it just really loved to rev. But then again that had no cat or lamba probe!

I am seriously tempted to put some 4-star (not lrp) petrol in my car. The problem is, will the lead damage the lamba probe in my car? My car has been decatted with a cat by-pass pipe. You are probably wondering why i want to put 4-star in and not normal unleaded, well how does an average octane rating of 99.7 sound to you?! has anyone got any tips on how easy it is to change an o/s/f window motor the window is stuck up and it looks pretty difficult to get at also where is the best place (apart from vw dealers)to get one

i have still got a problem of harshness from the engine at between 3500-4500rpm, this happens both when under load and not you can pick up the vibration through the throttle pedal i changed complete exhaust system thing it was resenation from there , but still the same. changed oil and filter , still no luck anyone got any ideas? 2lt 16v

my o/s/f electric window intermittantly works, when this happens the n/s/f window works ok, but as soon as the o/s/f window starts working again the n/s/f packs up. i can hear relays clicking like mad in the o/s/r q panel when using the switch

just spent the whole day re sticking the n/s/f door membrane and leaving a hair dryer under the carpet pretty sure i have cured it ny the way where is the vent loctated that blocks up with leaves and how do you get to it?

I brought a front Passat passengers side exterior door handle; not too keen on the delocking option :lol: If i get the front door locking mech from a passat will that do the job :?: :!:

if your corrado exterior door handle needs replacing, dont wa\ste your time getting a passet one, they may look the same but the internal door striker is longer, and it wont operate the door lock

Got a puzzling one here? car wont start after turning over numerious times checked spark at plugs cant detect one but car will bump start evey time and there is no missfire when running, infact it seems to be running better since this has happened. but as soon as you stop, you cannot get it started by turning it over , youy have to bump start it, my mate reckons it could be a blocked fuel filter if so where is this located?

anyone knows how to adjust the sunroof on a l plate corrado? mine has got a mark on top of the sunroof, it looks like it is scraping against something in the roof when you open it

One question...................how the hell do you get them off?? I dunno if the 2.0 16v Corrados had any speakers or tweeters fitted in them, cause i certainly cant hear anything!
