Just had a hell of a time trying to change my plugs one of the leads pulled straight out of the ht cap could i get the cap off the spark plug, hardly any access eventually totally knackered the cap when it was removed. and that was the plug with the best access. had to buy a complete set of ht leads and didnt bother about changing the others. any tips for me on this? Thanks

Could someone tell me what the number of the sunroof relay is please, as I have an intermitant fault with the sunroof where it slides back and forth ok and tilts up fine but sometimes on tilt down it gets stuck. I have changed the switch and the motor seems fine which makes me think it could be a relay or something? Thanks

does anyone know how to get the heater control panel off as i am changing the fan switch i have removed the radio and ash tray housing but i cant see how it comes off any advice apprieciated

if the timing chains and tensioners are worn would they just be noisy on start up from cold or would they be noisy all the time mine rattles a little when cold but dissappears after about 2 mins

i have just bought a vr6 and there are some areas where the lacquer is peeling side repeater lamps,edge of a pillars where the windscreen seal is and on the door mirror bases i have seen three other corrados and they have exactly the same problem is this a common problem on corrados and what is the best cure?

my alternator on my 2lit 16v has started howling when warm apart from that it charges fine does anyone know if it is possible to change the bearings

beware when removing the door glass i have just replaced my o/s electric window motor, and in doing so ripped the top door seal cost from vw £95 + vat you have been warned

Been trying to buy a bilstein streetline lowering kit but have been told by a couple of suppliers if my axle is base or plus because there are different kits ,my car is a 94 2lit 16v anyone any ideas?

cheers mate its not the belts, some vw tech told me about problems with the metal backing plate behind the cam belt

my 2lit 16v has developed a sqealing noise from the cambelt area, when i pushed the upper cam belt cover in it stopped, so i removed the cover the noise has now returned, have ruled out cambelt tensioner and the belt is not overtightened any ideas? .
