The 9.5 on an rs301 does require alot of work to the rear... this is a pic of what 9.5 in the rear and non modded arces looks like. And to drive the car sitting at that level is impossible The front fenders had to be pulled 1inch to fit the 9. the rear in order to lower the car and not rub will almost need to be pulled 2inch Russ is a froot... :hic:

The car belongs to a friend of mine. It is a VR6, with a charger.

You need more than that. I have a friend that has 9's in the front and 9.5's in the rear. You will need to pull the arches out quite a bit. 8.5's you can probably get away with some minor work.

I had to roll the front and rear fenders to tuck the 7.5's...and the fronts still rub at full turn.

Email Jeff, he took the pictures. He'll be more than happy to send some your way. mailto:[email protected]

VR6 Supercharger problems SPARK PLUG help NOW needed!
RS VR6 replied to gibber's topic in Engine Bay
I don't think there was a power difference...but it seemed like the car idled better and the acceleration was smoother. My idle sucks now because I have all three of the VF engine mounts. I do recommend these plugs, I had them in my 1.8t and now my SC'd VR6...no problems. For non forced induction cars part number is IK20 for VR6. IW20 for G60. -

Thanks for the compliments. I honestly don't know what the drop is...the car is on coilovers, so I just kept lowering till it got to where I liked it. As for the sideskirts, they are Abt mk3 ones with the lines filled in. my motor...

Saw that Golf here in the states a few months back. There is nothing like seeing that car live. It accelerates like woah!

Looks pimp...I like the tucking wheels. Is it a VR of G60? The hood says VR, but the bumper says G60...

Sprayed mine with a Japanese spray tint...

The nitrous will be fine. Just make sure you get the fueling right and that your motor is in good shape.. A 50 shot nitrous kit here in the U.S. costs roughtly 500usd.

They were fairly easy to fit. The fit isn't 100%. The skirt is a tad bit longer.
