Not sure if the outer cover will come off without damage. Mine seem stuck fast and would cause damage if tried. Thanks again mate.

    BBS Center Cap

I was hoping that I might have found an odd one that would have filled the hole. Having to get 4 puts a new light on the situation. I've just looked at the condition of the other 3 and to be honest they are in bad shape, the front ones have actually warped a little with heat. With the cost and aesthetics considered, I figure I'd be better off to get 4 of the reps, at least then they will all match and would lay the road open for wheel refurbishment. This decision though makes me feel mean towards you, considering you took the time to help me Keyo! I'm sorry to mess you around buddy, but thank you for your help.

Awesome Keyo I would much rather buy from you, Just the bog standard ones would be great. The fleabay ones are a little flawed it seems anyway. Would you mind posting up a photo or 2 just to show me the condition please mate. Thanks!

    BBS Center Cap

Has anyone got one of these center caps for my BBS going spare for sale. I don't know the style/name of the wheel, if some one could enlighten me please? Thanks.
  8. Yeah that's it, and ouch on the price. The one on my pump is totally rusted (although it still worked). At that price if anyone was to fit a new one, a couple of coats of rust proof paint would be a wise move indeed. Thanks for the link.
  9. Hi Animal. Just a heads up that an email with photos has been sent. I meant to say in the email that the smaller fuel canister is severely corroded and would benefit from being changed. I am a little unsure as to what the smaller canister is, as the larger one looks like a standard fuel filter to me? If you could shed some light on this it would be handy. Cheers

I like my little run outs to Jabba, apart form the £ aspect of course. Have fun, I am enjoying seeing the progress.
  11. Hi Animal. Sorry I forgot about this after a few days. I have a unit from a 16v I broke. The car was a runner but lost to tin worm. I have it boxed on my racking and will get some photos tomorrow. Is it the broken fuel filter fixing that is your issue, because if memory servers me correctly mine also has that piece broken? **Edit** I have found the pump and have taken photos, let me know if you are still in need. I can post the pics to your email for ease. Cheers.

Tackling these jobs is hard work at the best of times, having to fettle 3 vdubs is pure commitment mate. I'm sure all the hard work is worthwhile though when you take a look on your driveway 👍

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, just saw this now. Seems that you have got it sorted though.
  14. I may be able to help you. It's the square black box part that you are after?
  15. Sorry chaps, I don't really know how to describe it any better. Thanks for the tips though, I will get it serviced and re-tuned and see how it is after that.
  16. The revs don't surge if that's what you mean? Not sure if rubber banding is the correct term, I can feel the engine rocking back and forth as it's happening.
  17. Congrats on your new Corrado. It looks very clean and is in one of the best colours for a C (in my opinion). Enjoy your new purchase, you won't regret it. Here is a few links to parts suppliers and specialists that might help. https://www.vwspares.co.uk/ https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/ https://www.gsfcarparts.com/ https://www.stealthracing.co.uk/ https://www.jabbasport.com/
  18. I am experiencing rubber banding while cruising at low revs. It's more severe in second than higher gears and seems to be getting worse with use. There is no loss of power or running issues when I open it up though. I know it's impossible to diagnose online , but I just wondered if anyone had experienced similar and can suggest a few areas I could check over before opening the wallet again. Thanks chaps.
  19. Nice clean looking metallic green Rado parked at Coventry Ricoh stadium today. Was lucky to spot it from the road so couldn't see the reg or model. Also, I got a brief glimpse of the M plate by Dudley Zoo again Thursday morning. 2 in a week, nice!
  20. M plate Black (I think) near Dudley Zoo 6.30 this morning...... It put me in a good mood for the day......thanks!
  21. Glad to see your hard work is paying off for you Cressa. 👍

I had ATS Cups on my mk1 they do indeed look the nuts!
  23. Thank you Philly My mechanic managed to do it today thankfully. There is one long bolt which was seized, he said he had to remove the drive shaft to get room enough to get at it. No more thud noise when I give it some welly. Cheers
  24. I've been told that if the rear engine mount fixing bolts snap on removal that the engine would have to be removed to fix it properly. PG Engine Can any one deny or confirm this for me please? Cheers
