  1. Right,

    Not that up to speed with ICE stuff, so I have a couple of questions for peeps who know what they are talking about when it comes to audio. I'll try and make it as straightforward as possible. I intend to run the following speakers in my corrado, which are currently not connected up due to other ongoing work:

    Fronts = DLS R5A reference series 5.25" 2-way components with cross-overs

    see here: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /5567.html

    Rears = JBL GTO6428 6 x 4" 2-way speakers

    see here: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... oduct.html

    Subwoofer: MB Quart PWH 302 12" subwoofer

    See here: http://www.caraudio4u.co.uk/mb-quart-pw ... ubwoofers/

    Basically, the question I have is can I run all these speakers off this single amplifier ?

    http://www.caraudiodeals.co.uk/genesisp ... p-167.html

    Or do I need a separate amplifier to run my subwoofer like this:

    What's the verdict then folks, any advice appreciated :D

  2. It's ok, but TBH apart from having a funny mirror, a smoothed front bumper, a good paint-job and a nice set of wheels I don't see what's really that amazing about it at all ? :shrug:

    There are plenty of other corrado's that have had much more work go into them and that look a lot better IMO

  3. It pains me to do this as it's the first time I have ever had to post in here about a failed purchase.

    Agreed a sale with forum user, mal35d, for a corrado bonnet bra, delivered for £50, see thread here:

    viewtopic.php?f=13&t=98187

    A took around a week to make payment, however, I was having difficulty accessing the internet from where I was based and I was in touch with mal35d to explain. Having made cleared payment on the 2nd of November I waited until around 2 weeks after I had made payment (i.e. item had still not been delivered by this point) to start chasing him. I sent him a PM every couple of days since then and have never once received a reply. I finally managed to get his email address and then emailed him with the following:

    Dan,

    I have tried to get in touch with you by sending numerous PM's. You've now had payment for the bonnet bra for nearly 3 weeks and I am still wating for my item to be delivered. Please reply to this ASAP so I do not have to take any further action.

    Regards,

    Struan / BigTartanJudge

    I received the following reply a day later:

    "hi there sorry i have not checked emails, as the bra was posted?! i will get you a tracking number "

    I have since emailed him a further 4 times and PM'd all to no avail, so looks like I have lost my cash to Mr. Daniel Mallard, and I'm not happy about it either :censored:

    peteg60 has also have no response and is still waiting for his item, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else that have dealt with him or or any other forums ??

  4. So good to see this car getting the treatment it deserves. :clap: Well done lad.

    As for the wheels, I'd stay silver ever time. Are the 7's wide enough for you?

    Cheers Paul, aye it is, took me long enough. But had to take some time to build-up funds and finish collecting parts, plus with my mum passing away after her illness last year and being away so much, car-related things kinda took a major backseat for a while. There was never going to be any point in doing a half-arsed job of things, wanted to go the whole hog, in some ways kinda as a tribute.

    Not convinced on the standard silver option at all, 7" are wide enough for the Brembo's but other wheels I will be fitting are a little wider. Don't want to be fitting silly widths, or going for this "stanced" nonsense :camp:

  5. Right, looking for opinions on what to do with the wheels, these will be the main day to day wheels, I have another set in mind to fit for fairer weathers etc.

    Thing is, I'm not 100 % convinced on the colour of the MO's, think they are possibly just too much of a contrast (plus, although not kerbed, they could do with a repaint anyways). So....was thinking about giving them a colour-change to maybe dark anthracite, what do peeps think ?

  6. Its a shame JMR dont have a website, it would be cool to see the work theyve done because id never heard of them before the other day

    They do have a website, but it's under construction at the moment:

    http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk/

    Better to give John a call, his number is: 01903 718684 (workshop).

    He is 16VG60 on here, top bloke and really knows his stuff about G60's :D

  7. I have used JMR for my last two charger rebuilds / porting. Before that I used G-Werks. It has been said that Jabbasport are concentrating more on big power / 20VT stuff these days, although they have been arounda long time.

    If it was my money, I would be sending it to JMR who are much closer to you, being in West Sussex :D
