Yes mate I did, take your time when making the braket so the buttons work smoothly.

Thanks mate, thought so.

Does the aircon create a lot of condensation? My dad borrowed my car yesterday and had the a/c on all the time he used it, when I took the car out of the garage later on I realised there was a small puddle of water where the car had been sitting. It was roughly in the heater box position and assumed it must be condensation, I checked the coolant level which was fine. Can anyone confirm this?

I disagree with that about the washers, alright they are pretty useless, but they are particularlly good at soaking the car behind in water. Had a friend in tears of laughter the other day as we were drenching some idiot in a Renault Meagne convertible because he kept tail-gaiting me, he was not very happy.

Just got my insurance, tanks for the advice with Brentacre! Spoke to John, its so different to all the other insurers. (£939.95, 20 3yr NCB, lowered and a 150bhp limit) by far the best value for money! Thanks John

I've got that top one floating about somewhere, no idea what it is though.

Or what Kev said ^

Pretty sure it will be to do with the ignition coil around the barrel, happened to mine a while back. Do a search as I think it is quite a common problem. In the mean time try some WD40 down the key slot.

Miles comfier though, I hated my old seats.

Has this car still got the blue samco hoses? Was the one thing I didn't like about the car, along with the gearknob. Loving your work though Judith.

Oh well at least it looks fucking good.

Nice mate.

You don't need to take the dash out. He charged £450, i'm glad he did it though as I was going to do it myself but some little things needed changing that I didn't know about. That included wiring up the switches, altering the lower dash tray and gassing it all up. Quality guy can't recommend him enough.

I've also got a spare one of those brackets, you don't need it though as the mountings for the compressor are there on all VR6s. Let me know if you have any questions/need any pictures.

All the bits look right to me, both the evaporators i've got say mk3 Golf on them but both came out of Corrados, I know it's a bit of a trek but take all the bits to Keith in Chertsey (AC Engineering 01932 570333) and see what he says. He installed my kit about 6 months ago, best thing i've done to my car, use it everyday pretty much. I do actually have a spare loom and evaporator but want to keep them in case anything goes wrong with mine.

Love this car, it just gets better and better. -
Flattered that you like mine so much, but i'd say stick with yours, plus moonlight blue is fit.
