  1. UPDATE: Started second try today. Ran pretty well. I took it out for a test drive and the only place it felt weird was in boost shifting to third. It felt like right off the shift for a split second, it started to misfire. Out of boost - going into third or any gear - there wasn't much of any misfire if any at all. But in boost, it felt like it was misfiring/burbling going into third. I am going to get it vacuum tested, but I have a feeling there could be a vacuum leak in the boost hoses maybe?? Possible ground issues as mentioned above?? Ideas???
  2. Eventually I definitely am going to [emoji23] for NOW I’ll run the stage three though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So I got ahold of BBM and they basically told me the same thing. I am also running that 4bar pressure regulator and all supporting mods for the stage upgrade. I just wanted to be sure that I didn't need to get a new cam for this chip or a new chip for the cam haha
  4. Hey guys, So for christmas I was given a 268 cam and a stage 3 BBM chip. Problem is, this chip calls for a 260 cam. The stage 4 is the 268 cam. How much of a problem would it be to run these two together? I already have everything else for the upgrade, these two things just got a little mixed up. Thanks all
  5. I will do more investigating on my grounds! I might just end up replacing them because I doubt they have ever been replaced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Weird development: I put on an old ISV I had to see if the ISV could be the cause. As soon as that one went on, the car started it’s misfiring again. Put the new one that I had bought for it back on, and the misfire continued. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Still chances of being a blown head gasket you think? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. It did clear that up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hey guys, here’s a video of the rough start. This is with new injectors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. They are GB Remanufactured injectors. I ordered from a website with lifetime warranty in case they ever go out I can get them replaced Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I’ll double check the part number for you sir. That’s what I’m concerned about. I don’t know if the spray pattern will be the same or not. I emailed the company and they said they would switch it out if I would like to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Anybody seen this before? I was sent one injector with a different tip. The part number on that injector matches all the other ones but the tip is different. It’s the yellow one. Think it’ll still work?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Got them out. I pulled the intake manifold off, and was able to take the rail out separate from the wiring harness. Once the intake manifold was off, it was easy from there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So might as well take the intake manifold off and go about it that way? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. What about for getting the wiring harness off of the brackets connected to the block? Or are those brackets for the wiring harness connected to the rail? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hey all, As the title suggests, I’m removing the fuel rail. I need a little help/suggestions on removing the wiring harness from the injector rail. I want to be as careful as possible to not break the old plastic. Any suggestions? Thank you all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I will look into this thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. No no you’re good! I had a compression issue but it was that the timing skipped a tooth when the belt became loose a while back. That has since been fixed. At this point everything else has been checked over. The only other thing it does is misfire under 2k rpm. But it throttle is blurped or held at anywhere under 2k the misfire will clear up. As if - what I’m assuming - the injectors are dirty or something to that effect. The injectors and seals have never been replaced on the car so they are 30 years old at this point. PO never replaced them to my knowledge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. And are at proper length Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. All vacuum lines have been replaced Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hi! I did think about that, but I also just changed the coolant sensor less than a year ago. Although they are relatively cheap and easy to replace so might be worth trying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hi sir, stuck cotton down there and smelt it. It only smells like exhaust/fuel. Doesn’t smell like coolant or oil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Tried different tests. Checked oil cap - there’s no milky oil - and checked for bubbling coolant in the reservoir - no bubbling in the coolant either. So could it possibly be leaking fuel injectors also cleaning the piston heads? I also have no white smoke continuously coming from the exhaust Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Just checked, seems that cylinder one and two look cleaner than three and four. One also had some sort of liquid on the piston head that looked like a rusty color? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Will do sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
