  1. Yes mate 84k, it was in excellent condition.. Mint 1's can be brought for under 1k, you just need to look long and hard im afraid :wink:
  2. You cant go wrong with a mk2 Golf 16V, i brought my last one for only £900 quid, 16V, big bumpers, bbs alloys, only 84k miles, it was a bargain.. You cant buy a better car in this price range IMO :wink:

  4. Seems so, common problem with the mk2 because the doors are soo heavy :wink: Looks very nice JT, as Jim says, get some nice Euro wheels on there, seeing great example like that make me want a MK2 16V again, quality motors, best GTI VW ever did :wink:

  11. Nice choice Nelson, i love those diesel cupras, Seat are doing a fantastic job woth there performance models, and this 160bhp cupra is the icing on the cake, 0-60 in under 7 seconds :shock: And enough torque to rip your face off! :lol: Good choice :D

  18. Out of those two mate id have to go for the Golf GTI, superb car. Insted of the car do you get the chance to have the cash equivilant as well? Thats whats was offerd to me this year, i took the cash!If you took the cash you can keep your lovely Storm running :wink:

  21. Hi Mate, and welcome to the Forum :wink: To answer your questions, 1. It really depends on your budget, id recomend a VR6 if your doing 15k miles a year, nice and smooth and great on the motorway. 2. Your in Derby yeh?A goodindependant VW specialist near to you (Nottingham) is C and R enterprises, a little expensive, but Steve Creswells knowledge is good, if a little tedious sometimes :lol: . 3.You dont get that many Corrados that are owned by boy racers, if you see what that you think has been abused, walk away. 4. the obvious best places to get looking for a Corrado are this Forum and auto trader, but you would be suprised as to wear you will find one...Look in all good free ad mags etc etc, you never know. :wink: Good luck matey! :D
