  1. £1500 is reasonable for a MOT'd, below average miles and tidy C 1.8 16v..................ok you are only wanting to spend £1k......which is probably why you are still looking for one  ...........i seem to remember you selling a mk2 GTI 16v and wanting more than £1500.........much as the mk2 is a nice car i personally would value a Corrado as being worth more(bar G60 ltd/Rallye/and GTI G60 ) i think the thing is here that because of the over inflated prices some people think they can put there C's up for sale at silly money prices and still sell, look at the amount of 1.816Vs in the for sale section at the moment struggling to sell.... its OBVIOUSLY good for people that already own c's, but for people like myself that are looking at getting into C ownership it is mighty frustrating still looking for the right c, if i got it for 1k that would be a bonus, but i fully expect to pay considerably more than that
  2. seriously though, i do stick by that if i was going to buy this car in question i would only be prepared to spend 1k. ive seen a 90H in hull dragon green 120k miles, sebrings, totally standard, the guy wants 1k. and its in good nic, come then end of the month if he has still got it i hope to be going up there to have a good look. im only trying to give renegade some advice, yes the market for all C's is massively inflated at the moment, but its like people are just thinking up sums of money to sell there C's for
  3. ahhh, youve sussed me out
  4. IMO £1500 is a bit optimistic, im looking for a raddo at the moment and i would be prepared to pay 1k for yours, if your after a sale soonish drop me a pm
  5. yeh no probs mate  available in 4 stiud as well eh? thats brilliant, and at £799 what a bargain
  6. just another indication that raddo prices are on the up........... fore those who arent owners this news is gutting :( i best buy 1 quick then eh
  7. Bc student is right, mk2 16v cannot be chipped, and to be getting 165 bhp you must have done some pretty extensive work  considering the 1.816v C at the moment, i kno they handle great, but coming from a mk2 golf 16v, will i really feel a drastic change in performance???
  8. hard job??? any body here dont it before?? thanks in advance.
  9. alrite guys, with a full stainless steel exhaust system and k&n filter how many extra horses should a 1.816v C have?? has any body out there done this mod? whats the difference in throttle response like if any at all??? thanks in advance
  10. Does anybody have an idea how much a set of these are worth that are in good condition?? looking @ a corrado with them on, i think they look quite good, but would jus like an idea on how much i could get for them??? thanks in advance guys :)

  13. http://www.veedubbers.co.uk is the best up and coming golf site out there, great technical knowledge and good forum. i also agree with AdamB and G60Dubs, http://www.golfgti.co.uk is one of the best golf forums online.
  14. yes mate  people that still have badge snobbery over new skoda's are fools, nowadays they are very good cars :D
  15. ive seen a few octavia VRS's recently for about 5.5k, 1 had mega miles and the other was a CAT D write off. i love these cars man, if i had 5k hanging around id seriously consider 1, you get sooo much for your money. Jim, are you considering getting one?
  16. hmmm, as mentioned above the ride height is abit questionable. but for over all quality of the paint job the car is jaw droppingly amazing  8)
  17. yes, i hear that it is actually illegal. looks cool in a wierd kind of way though
  18.   http://www.bmwquebec.com/viewtopic.php? ... 37&forum=4 the next big thing???
  19. well, you simply cannot go wrong with a fiat coupe T. great cars 8)
  20. probably, but if you spent the same kind of money on the coupe that you have on your VR6 then the diffrence in performance would be phenomenal 8)
