A car valeter has finished off my heater controls! he must of lent on them, as when i picked car up the dial had been pushed way past 4 and no longer works at all! Arg! i new it was a bad idea... do you think it is repairable or should look for some second hand replacments as i asume they cost a fortune from VW!
-
far point! ill just get the b@stards sorted before winter.... im sure some will come up second hand by then!

Only done it 5 times in a month but done it twice yesterday... Every time it seems to be when accelerating on a dumpy road? Engine cuts out then wont bump start, but starts fine if I turn the ignition off and start by key? Could it be an ignition problem as ive been having problems with the radio cutting out recently and if I wiggle keys it cuts back in?

This week my heater controls have bust, back box banging against the body and has started randomly cutting out every now and then!! But then this afternoon im sitting in my office and i can here the directors of the company in the next room next door talking and heard them mention Corrado! oh so i get a little closer to ear wig! Turns out there talking about mine in the car park and how good it looks and sporty! Considering they all have top spec BMW'S and Merc's thats put a smile on my face today and I ve forgot all about the above mentioned! :)

Done! pretty simple really just needed some one to tell us what lights were on.. this post helped me: The plain brown wire is the earth wire on your car, looking at the list for your new lights I would guess that the white/black is the earth wire. The rear left turn signal has a black/white wire running to it. The rear left tail light bulb has a grey/black wire running to it. The rear left brake light bulb has a black/red wire running to it. The rear right turn signal has a black/green wire The rear right tail light bulb has a grey/red wire The rear right brake light bulb has a black/red wire. You could try sorting the earth wire out as it is fairly clear which one that is, if you then put the hazzards on and touch the new wire that the indicator is attached to the old wires in turn you should find out which one is the indicator. You can repeat the above process to work out the lights and then that just leaves you with the brakes and by a process of elimination you should know which one it is!

any luck finding the wiring diagram as im doing this tonight? any help welcome, ta

A doughnut tank in the place of the spare wheel, the larger one would take all of the space! Yes but is the only one to consider, single point only really suitable for a run around motor not a performace motor
-
should the bottom of the spring though be totally conpressed as in first 3-4 coil touching? also does it matter the rear springs are the over way round? Ta

cheers forgot to mention i also have a Ram air induction kit

Had it 6 months now so thought while i was making some changes i put some photo's up! And am loving it! Purchased it with: AMD throttle 4motion 16" alloys Milltek System Multi point LPG system Since owning: koni & H&R's 17" TSW BMC CDA induction kit supersprint de cat smoked side Indicators FK M3 smoked rear lamps Couple of questions what do you think of changes made? what cheapish performace upgrades can i do next as dont what to go to mad as engine is at 168K so dont what to stress her to much? Was thinking about lowing caps for front but have heard bad thing about harsh ride? When i brought it: After Koni's etc: With new alloys:
-
Koni TAs/H&Rs all put on but when fitting new whells i notice the spring might be the wrong way round!? as front are differant from back..... I fault the tightly wound end goes at the top?
-
£100 for failed fitting i brought it from euro performace £56 ish
-
emissions are not a prob for me as have LPG kit so Kat not needed :) Great so it cost me £100 bill to find out its shite!
-
just had garage call and the milltek de-cat pipe wont fit without vibrating on the body of the car :( Has any one else had bad experiance with milltek, or am i just the unlucky one? would a supersprint one in the group buy fit between my milltec system and down pipe?
-
Quite a bit as boot small already, but saying that i still got a 2 foot long amp and a 12" sub in there! after all that i could prob fit 4 bags of shopping in there.... pretty FULL no pic and car is in garage getting goodies fitted, going to do a gallery when all done you could have a look then
-
Also I can’t see the government putting the tax up as they base it on emissions and lpg is very green but you never know with them....
-
I Have an LPG vr6 and drives prefectly and halfs my fuel bills! :) brought the car already converted so had no big out lay, but cost him £2000 for a multi point system with which you cant notice the differance between gas and petrol. wouldnt bother with single point injection as basic and noticably power loss.
-
cheers mate, but hopefully they should fingers crossed arrive today from VW did lowered spring caps make much differance?
-
Ah i see Cheers
