Found a bad water leak on my vr6 this morning, under manifold at bottom of engine any ideas what its leaking from dont think its a pipe, is it the water pump there?? going to repair my self, what the best referance for parts etc?? Ta

lol - the one with the guy demo'ing the head unit with the pop out video screen and the customer is like "Oh, cool!" as if he didn't know it did that - like the just went in to Halfords and asked them to stick in ANY head unit and held out a handful of money or something?! Surely he knew what he was getting before they installed the fecking thing in his car!! :lol: glad i wasnt the only person to think that ha! What about the one where he's demo'ing the sat nav and he says, 'just do it like i showed you', the driver then presses the sat nav screen once and the halfords bloke says something like 'hey, there you go'. ALL YOU DID IS PRESS ONE BUTTON! :lol: maybe a little too observant from me. LOL thats my mate in the ad's hes a manager for halfords, he dont get paid any extra for adverts... tight wads! :roll:

mainly wear and tare bits as done a lot of miles recently poly bushes MAF ££££££££££££££££££££££ track rod end engine health check for possible Charger water leak good place know there stuff!

just got the motor back from the phirm and driving like a new car! well happy! i what to go for a drive over the weekend maybe camp over night, but can think of any were ie good roads... any ideas? leaving from london?

well i may be able to get a mk4 r32 lump for £500! so will be cheap! got to wait till the weekned to find out, then ill pull his arm off!

now im very tempted!

I have a chance of getting a r32 engine very cheap, but just the engine..... is there over ways of getting it in my vr6 apart from with ecu, clocks, loom, pedals etc....

i gave up gone to the garage...... better do some overtime

checked all fuses and relays seem ok

fuel pump was changed a few months ago so not that and chains also sort a while ago....

car been running rough the last couple of weeks not very responsive and starting problems so took to garage and vag.com the lambar come up with signal to low and afew over bits so they reset it and was planning to back this week and have the lambar changed but, yesterday my foot slipped of the clutch and it stalled and now wont start could the lambar sensor cause this? it just turns over and sounds like its turning over quicker then norm? any ideas?

my VR6 wouldnt start yesterday it was just turning over and couldnt here the fuel pump prime, my ignition switch has being playing up so i fixed that and still wouldnt start after that i changed the relay as couldnt here it click as normal and that didnt work so change the ECU realy no. 3 and it worked for a little while but the engine has a ticking sound i dont remember having before?? then wouldnt start this morning so checked relay again pulled in then out now started again but with the ticking sound??? has had a new feul pump so cant be that, my heater has stopped work though but was doggy before...... Please help as start new job 60 miles away tomorrow! great timing!

when i disarm my car alarm, the fuel pump primes for ages.... about 20 seconds?? its had a new fuel pump an couple of months ago going to burn out if cant find the prob, any ideas?

i just see you have a engine loom for sale, i reply on your post!

The centre wire of three on the plug on the left hand side if the throttle has snapped, can these be brought from any were or is it part of the loom???? Ta

In the last year ive had to get my wheel Alignment done 3 times ... and when changing too my new alloys i noticed they were uneven again! (one one side) The people that done it all 3 times have all the prop equipment with print out etc, they just stay its due to having 17's on the car? I havnt hit any kerbs, what could be causeing this it cant be right?
