Cheers Sanj, Its very tidy for age gonna do a few suttle bits. think it is lowered but gonna check, fronts lower than rear by a long way. U interested in thos door cards m8?

Your mates looks ace Don't know where to start with the seat yet, still got to valet theinterior as its a bit gruppy, but bit of polish etc will come up nice

Went and had a look today, & Bought it £600 Its a 1984 GTI 8v 85k on the clock Full service history It has 2 small problems Drivers seat with a big rip and bolster wear.( not surprising fot yr) Gonna look at putting my Corrado seats into her. Theres no hot air coming from the heater The rest of car is in excellent condition :D

i had a cobra on my car origanally, think its the same model as u say. Mine had to be taken out cos the brain of alarm is in the siren and was getting electronic pulses which spiked the brain and disbled it tottaly. for a few weeks it was a ok then it just broke down, went thru 4 alam brains till cobra fax some details to the dealer that installed mine saying that they shouldn't be fitted to corrados or golfs, to close to coil

I'm running 7x18" rims et37 but running 15mm spacers to compensate for brembos so in theory makes them a et22 The suspension is down around 80mm, catches on full lock front on inside arch and on the underneath of rear arch at the mo till i sort out the damping on coilovers to stiffen it up -
Bought mine in Feb 02 with 82k on clock for £2800 now has 104k on it

i'm running 15mm spacers, so these are 15mm longer than origanals

i asked about what happened if the glass got cracked, they said they can be replaced, still finding out from my m8 with the coupe out the lenses i will let u know if i find out anything chris

Sorry to hear that DM :mad: If i remember right clifford give some sort of compensation on there alarms if its broken into and it doesn't go off

I have spoken to the company about these, about different coloured glass instead I.E Clear they could only do them standard how they come Spoke to my mate who has a fiat coupe who said there is a possibility that theres some varaions in after market glass to replace with
