I know it might sound obvious, but have you changed the central locking/electric window fuse ontop of the fuse board?

Are the panels metallic black? What damage/scratches are on the rear bumper and doors? Cheers.

Changed the fuel filter on the VR, it looked like the original had not been replaced, and changed the blue engine temp sensor! The car is much more responsive now and performs much better!! Very happy indeed. And I bought a new bonnet for £9.99 to replace my dented one. Happy days. Just bought a golf mk2 and a VR Engine well, so a great week for me. :)

Yes I agree. My car is fitted with a Clifford alarm system with a few bright flashing led's and I think this contributes a lot to the battery drain. Also I only do about 3 miles a week in my car with the music up loud, so I'm probably draining the battery before giving it a chance to charge, lol. It's usually fine for about a week before the battery won't turn the engine over in the winter, but seems to last longer in the warmer months. :)

Yeah the bonnet earth like VWVW says, I believe it's also the same on a mk3 Golf . They break easily, and don't seem to do much. I replaced mine with a Mk3 one just to tidy things up.

My battery is brand new and if I don't use the car for more then 4-5 days the battery struggles to turn the engine over. I think this is fairly common from what I've heard? The black cable off the battery is earthed to the Chassis behind the battery, it looks like the cable is split but it's secured down with a 10mm nut, is this the part of the cable you are referring too? If it is then this is also normal.

G60 rocker cover, the paint is flaking so would either need new paint, or even better get it polished! £25 posted Ono.SOLD G60 Radiator and fan, needs a good clean and the fan housing has rust patches, but the radiator has no leaks etc. £20+postage. G60 inter cooler, needs a good clean. £15+postage. Rob.

Hi mate. Only just realised that you had replied to my message. The slam panel and bumper are green pearl in colour. Both are in good condition for their age but will obviously need paint to match your car. £30 collected and they are yours. Rob.

Removed these from my G60. The front calipers and carriers have a fair bit of rust, but will clean up nicely with some elbow grease. Included is front discs and pads, slightly worn but the discs will also clean up nicely. Basically everything in the photos is included. I'm unsure what to ask price wise as they will need a fair amount of cleaning up before fitting. I recon postage will be £10, so open to sensible offers by anyone interested. The discs measure approx. 280mm in diameter. Rob.
