*Goes to rescue them from the bin*

I sold the drivers side door from my G60 breaker today, and when I went to put it in the guys car I could hear something rattling in the door itself, so pulled back the membrane and stuck my hand in to find 5 door handle strikers, and one lock/unlock striker. Whoever owned this car previously must of been really heavy handed or very unlucky, and must of been fed up of buying handles: Just found it funny that all the bits were left in the door and not removed after replacing the handles! Anyone else found this amount of bits in their door?

What year is your VR mate? I was tempted to buy one of these off ebay a while back and they were selling for around £25 I believe, is this the same type of chip do you know? Also there was a thread on these Powerchips a while ago and a few people seemed quite impresed with the gains. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?37407-Ebay-VR6-Powerchip-feedback

You need a compressor and air gun, or impact gun to do this job ideally. Makes the job a piece of ****. :)

Stale fuel/gas possibly?

Anyone know where my Candy white 2.0 16v is: Reg. M990 00H Or anyone who used to own my Brilliant black metallic: Reg. K455 CBU (JBZ 6600 when on old plates) Or my 2.0 16v in green pearl: Reg. L566 ULU or my current breaker, green pearl G60 : Reg. J931 OPV :)

3 complete interiors in my attic, and two on my driveway(in the VR6 and 2.0), so 5 in total, haha. My misses hates me! :) ---------- Post added at 9:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:40 PM ---------- Found one in better condition but still not perfect, i guess its just due to their age,:
-
No worries Andy. I will see if any of the other seats I have are in any better condition and let you know. :)
-
Ive got two here both from drivers side seats(I think) but they are slightly different in style(one arms straight and ones bent) and have different part numbers, neither are in amazing condition, but if either is any good to you then let me know:

I do actually. The engine is in pieces though, but the supercharger, ecu and loom are all intact and have been removed from the car. Pm me with an offer if you still want any of these items. :) -
I will be sending you a PM shortly mate. :)

I have just removed this from my G60 that im breaking for parts. It looks like it might have been polished externally and internally at some point. Its in very good condition and hardly has any oil/dirt on it. It would polish up easily if you want abit of bling on your engine, and a great item for porting. Looking for £30 posted : Im selling a few other G60 bits over the next few days so keep an eye out. Rob.:)

Hi Mike. Collection would be from Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, just so you know. Its a really good system and obviously being fully welded it is good for flow/performance. If it had the later type hangers then I would be keeping it for my VR6. I would imagine its worth a couple of hundred, but make me an offer, I wont bite. :) Remember first reasonable offer secures it. Rob. :) ---------- Post added at 7:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:07 PM ---------- It appears to be about 52mm outside diameter approx. I will double check now mate........

Im in. Im happy to travel anywhere in the South Wales area. Keep me upto date if any meets are being organised. :)

This is a fully welded system(so no clamps) and is great quality made using T304 stainless tubing, stainless brackets and silencers. It has been configured to give a mild sports sound and has a free flowing cat. It cost just under £400 fitted, i still have the receipt. Condition wise it is amazingly shiney(mirror finish) and only has a couple of very light scratches. I have had to cut one weld to remove the exhaust from under the car, but this is easily welded back into place. The oxygen sensor is not included. The only thing I can see being a pain is getting it posted, as I didnt want to cut anymore of the welds so this means the section from the back box to the cat is quite long, although I would imagine I could courier it for less than £15, or you can arrange your own courier if you wish. Ideally looking for £100 plus postage. Cheers everyone. :)

Breaking: G60 J reg 1992, LC6V- Green Pearl, All parts available.

Im closing this thread as I have realised im not going to have time between now and Christmas to keep up with the items I will need to post, and instead of letting anyone down I would rather start fresh in the Newyear when I have more time on my hands. It also gives me more time to finish stripping the complete car, and have all the items ready to post! The days are just to short at the minute and im trying to squeeze too much work into an already busy schedule. I will PM all members who have already shown interest in parts and get these items sent to you asap, but all other items will have to wait until January. Sorry about that but I hope you understand where Im coming from. Cheers. Rob. -

Yeah no problem. Ive got the whole interior stripped so the wiring loom is completely exposed, I wont get a chance to remove it until later tomorrow though! I will be removing the complete wiring loom so I will see where is is best to cut it or see if its possible to seperate the loom and give you the section from the rear lights to the fuseboard. I will hopefully be able to do a bit update tomorrow evening with all the parts and prices for everyone. Cheers. -

early hanger fitting. Its a fully custom built exhaust including the cat, i orinally thought it was cat back but looked underneath yesterday and had a better look. The exhaust is fully welded which is good for performance/no leaks etc, but to remove it I will have to cut one section and it will then require welding back. Not a big job and any exhaust fitter will get it sorted no problem. I will have the exhaust off in the next couple of days and take some pictures.
