The Worlds best corrado has arrived! (AND ITS NOT MINE)
vr6paul replied to Majik's topic in General Car Chat
someone should text him and ask him how much. i'll give him £50 for it. -
you may well find that the standard replacement is more costly than say a full miltek, which are quite popular. cheers and welcome Paul
-
just a guess but you may find that most with a G60 will tell you G60 and most with a VR will tell you VR. Like roddy says its been argued a million times but they are both corrados!!!!

I would second roddys opinion and if the juntion you are talking about is just accross from the co-op / arena fitness then i have been over it in my standard vr6. you sit lowin them but i think it would be difficult to make it scrape cheers Paul
-
Monday or Wednesday nights would be fine for me too. Just let me know cheers Paul

I think you need to buy carefully and ideally look for history of the car. There are a lot of posts talking about VW service histories and how important they are and then there are other saying how people service their car far more often than VW recommend. One recently was a forum member who felt the car benefitted from having new plugs every 5K when the interval was more lik 20-30K. THats fair enough if it makes a difference but I wouldn't be spending £50 ish quid on plugs every few months when it might only need them every 2 years. The Vr6 is a great car but can be expensive (fuel and tyres and brakes) purely because of the way they are driven a lot of the time. THe expense is definetly worth it but how much expense depends on if you want to sort the problems or throw money at anything. just my 2p by the way! Cheers Paul p.s. get a cracker and you wont regret it!

on a vr6 - definetly yes to induction kit and hear it roar!!!!!!!!!!!
-
sounds like the owner is just fed up the way the advert is worded.
-
you can feel it is stiffer but has still held on to most of the ride. Only done on Saturday mind so has a bit of settling in to do yet. cheers Paul
-
its either 35 or 40mm can't mind G-max do the springe (cause they were cheap and available) Also new Biltein gas shock all round Need a trip to star for allignment now though cheers Paul
-
Not so much of a 4x4 anymore. Only on spring kit though with new gas shocks as budget won't stetch to coilovers. Anyway seems to have leveled itout nicely and not too low but has got rid of the huge space at the back arch.
-
sounds like a lot of hassle!!
-
don't worry i'm not going to buy it (mines a VR). Just thought i'd point it out as it seemed unusual.
-
didn't realise they were that cheap
-
I'm guessing from that reply that there isn't a way of finding out the map thats in it like i said in the post originally!!!!
-
Check this out. The guy is a bit vague with the description but surely there is some way of finding out what sort of map it is. Can't go far wrong for a 5 spot eh? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... egory=9889 cheers Paul

miltek isn't at all overpowering noise wise - not sure about power gains though. cheers Paul
