sorry i dont quite understand what you mean The subframes are identical except for the extended arm. The 2.0 16v one has 1 additional space for a bolt - same as my current under car subframe however the NEW one is the 1.8 16v one, which has smaller arms, and thus not matching the one under my car. Can it still be fitted though?

The thing is, and maybe im wrong but when itook the 2.0- 16valve subframe to the mechanics, it matched the one under my car perfectly....including being bent!

Auto was on the 2.0 8v, this frame is from a 1.8 16v. And its different. Ill post soem pics.

Take it on the motorway, then check it. Mine was fine after a good 30 miles.

ardandy, Are you "Ard" enough for a powerflow???? LOL TBH they're too loud, and the workmanship was poor(Top gear). Ive had countless problems with it. IMO there are much better ones out there. Good luck, anything qould beat the VAG exhaust. Regards.

I have just bought a replacement subframe from a 1.8 16v and it is different to the one on my 2.0 16v.

T CUT - Late bonnets are much more desireable than early. With reg to the price, you just have to chance it on ebay. There was a guy on the forum who was lookin for a late bonnet, and at the time, he was willing to pay around the £100 mark for it. Good luck with ur sale.

I havent been able to fill one of my tyres up for 6 months now, as the metal valve cap has completely bonded with the valve, No matter of wd and pliers will remove it, w/o twisting the valve as well. Any ideas? Will these help?

Did you atleast give him a good spanking? And when i got hit in the same way, there was damage behind the bumper as well. More than the £150 i was offered. Also since u were in a car park, u can ask the poilice to review the cctv footage if the guy starts denying it etc, BUT only if the police view the crash as a malicious act of violence, NOT if it was an accident. ???? Ive got one, but it was painted and some point, and the paint has all worn off so the finish is quite dull on it.
