Don't mess with the CF :lol: Sorry chap, I think the opinion is that somewhere under £85 would be a better starting point.

:lol: Another one that I've heard people being surprised about is the closure (if you don't use an alarm) of the sunroof/windows if you lock the car and hold the key in the lock in the turned position. I was also going to say about the Storm being 5 mph faster in reverse as well but I'm fairly sure that's common knowledge.

Thank you Mr Fish! Clutch already changed now. Gonna pick up a few bits including a (reproduction) windscreen from VW Heritage. Presumably VAG don't still have any originals. Any idea whether I would need a replacement seal as well? Or can the old one be recycled?

Looking to replace the windscreen as it's a bit chipped and pitted. Does anyone know, as standard, whether it should be clear, or blue or green tinted?? Would the part number identify what's on there at the moment? Looks to be a VAG item.

Very good quality, think it was custom made. Bought it a few years ago but never fitted it. Not really sure what it's worth - sure I paid over £40 a few years back. How does £35 sound?
