  1. Henny how does this Dension work? I was toying with the idea of getting one but now I can't find anywhere that stocks them. Do you just buy the head unit, then a separate hard disk to use with it? And what hard disk do they use?
  2. Err... I hope you haven't used either as steering fluid.
  3. One day at Bojmobile's house.... "Er, mum, can you take a picture of me pretending to hump my car, please...."
  4. Sorry, I disagree. The dealer cannot possibly be responsible. It's just one of those unfortunate things when you buy a second hand car.
  5. I heard that the chains can stretch - anyone confirm this?
  6. There's a black Octavia vRS - PX04 FZA - in and around the Southampton area.
  7. My V5 hasn't come through either yet - nearly a year now - but I know the car is registered to me cos I received a reminder for an unpaid parking ticket (that never actually appeared on my car in the first place :? ). Contrast this to my last car that the DVLA sent me two V5's for. I really ought to ring them and get a replacement.
  8. That's just silly - it's undriveable.
  9. Looks kinda like a Vento in the thumbnail.
  10. That was my initial thought as well.
  11. Same as. Mine clonks once when reversing on full lock. Completely standard suspension set up. I did have the ARB bushes changed recently, but I can't remember if it was doing it before that or not.
  12. Go for option a) with slight amendment. The dealer has entered into a contract with you. You should reject the car under the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994, contending that the supplier is in breach of this contract to you for supplying a car which was not "of satisfactory quality". The dealer could perceivably argue that he should be given a chance to rectify the problems, but I'd stick to your guns and push for a full rejection - like Gavin says, who wants a car with delivery mileage that's had a respray? I, personally, wouldn't get a Leon. They are lovely cars (I nearly bought one three years ago) but they are getting on a bit now, and are due for replacement next year. I'd stick with the Ibiza, get one without cruise and get a hefty discount and plenty of extras out of them. You can always retro-fit cruise later (just stalks and messing around with VAGCOM, methinks..??) Whatever you decide, it will undoubtedly be hassle you could have done without.
  13. 900kg?? And the rest. Unfortunately it's not quite as simple as an equation. There are loads more variables to take into account; gearing, diameter of wheels, ability of driver...etc (and bcstudent knew you wouldn't be able to resist!)
  14. Probably, because you've given us no more reason to beleive this one than you did the last. In fact, I find this one more unbeleivable.
  15. While we're on the subject, I just wonder Campaign and Jimbo: a) How long have you owned your campaigns? b) Who was foolish enough to sell them to you (or are you the original owners?) c) How much you paid for them, if you don't mind me asking? d) Are they daily drivers? e) Are you ever likely to sell?

    Ronal R7's

    I like them and I think they'd suit a C.
  17. Nope. Definitely on with the ignition. Check your handbook (page 48 )
  18. Not quite right - they automatically come on with the ignition and the level of heat put out is regulated by the outside temperature.
  19. I'd steer well clear, if I were you. Also I would have thought delivery costs would be huge, since it's classed as an explosive and would no doubt need special handling.

    Bmw 323

About 170ish??? I know it's got the old 2.5 engine in it.
  21. Gibber how much do they cost? Do you have the part number?
