    Springs

Nice one, i'll look into them! I was REALLY fortunate enough to have bought the car with the konis on already!! they are only about eight months old :D :D they set the pevious owner back £740 including the eibachs   glad it didnt come out of my wallet!lol

    Springs

good evening! What springs do you lot run on your cars? Ive got koni top adjustables and eibach springs - really nice setup, ...however, the ride height is still far too high for my liking. I had some gmax lowering springs on my last corrado but i wasnt too impressed with them - really harsh ride! Can anyone recommend a good lowering spring that wont screw up the ride? muchos gracias 8)
  4. VR6storm - have to agree, the series 1 RS is one of my all time favourites!! ive had 4 of them in total, each one better than the last. If i could afford one as a toy - i would have one in a flash!! They are sooooo much fun for relatively little expense. I nearly bought one instead of the corrado but they are not an everyday car! as i said, if i could afford one for a track car i would defo have one. I co owned a 3 door cos with the girl i was seeing about 6 years ago - but lost both the girl and my license  most recently though i had a 2wd saph - great fun - but not at all practical, and u need VERY deep pockets to keep em in tip top condition. unfortunately i dont have very deep pockets - but hey, i'm VERY happy with my new corrado!! Dave
  5. Im 29 at the mo   BUT the dreaded 30 is looming in June :( - not sure whether to celebrate it or not!! im on my 2nd G60 now - sold my last one around october i think last year - regretted it almost immeadiatley. but got another now so im ok :D ive had allsorts of cars over the years, bmw/s, R5gtturbos, astra, golfs, series 1 rs turbo, series 2 rs turbo, audi 80,cossie - but ive yet to find one as classy as the Corrado! 6. :D Dan - thats exactly what i thought when i saw them!!! could the deal have been any sweeter? 8) a couple of them are losing a bit of laquer, but a refurb is gonna be a lot cheaper than sourcing and buying a set of these beauties :D Dave
  7. Andi - I sold the cossie after only a couple of months. I could see it was going to be a pain in the aRSe and cost me a fortune. When i first had a go in one (a good ten years ago) i thought it was the nuts, and it suited my requirements at the time. But after all these years it just didnt suit me now. It was only happy being driven hard and i just dont need a car like that all the time. It doesnt have the build quality i had become acustomed to either. I do still have a soft spot for them tho - but still prefer to own a Corrado  Dave
  8. Picked up my new G60 yesterday, and after a day spent with it with a bottle of autoglym i can honestly say im a very happy man!!  Its a 92 J mettalic black with 16" Azevs on it, koni adjustables and eibach springs - everything else seems pretty standard (for the moment). It drives like a dream - and those konis REALLY make a diiference to my old G60 which ran standard dampers on lowered springs. All i can say is its good to be back in a Corrado. I sold my last one in november last year and bought a cosworth ( ive wanted one forever!!) - and although out & out speed on the cosworth was quite phenominal - theres nothing quite like a corrado! I'll post some pics when i buy a digi camera!! Dave
  9. so it would seem  Dave
  10. Sorry, i was just having a blonde moment!
  11. As title says, why cant i see any pics? ive just been trying to see the AGM pics but nothing is showing. any ideas peeps? :) Cheers Dave
