yep, i have seen a passat G60 - didnt know if it was just the badge stuck on, it was parked up so never looked under the bonnet, but i have seen a passat G60

i reckon its a price thing! certainly was for me, but as i said, i would rather wait and pay the extra for a decent ride, cos you'll probably end up spending it on dentistry anyway pmsl :lol:

re GMax kits on other post. I used a GMax kit on my previous C - i feel im fortunate enough to still have all my teeth inplace! ....just I have spent time @ GMax factory (one of the reasons i used a GMax kit ...they gave me a nice discount which i really couldnt turn down) so have seen the engineering and testing that goes into the kits. Obviously it has to meet certain regulations and are 'safe', but they are much better suited for track use than road. I am after a new set of springs for my C at the mo , but even with discount, i would still rather spend the extra and have a better ride. Hope this helps Dubster 8)

i'd also get an insurance quote before buying one. As they are grey imports you'll find your insurance can be up to double what you would pay for a UK car 8)

my G60 isnt chipped at the mo - but im gonna be using an SNS chip when ive got my charger serviced - are you pleased with the performance? 8)

...oh btw, me and the missus flew up with sleazyjet for about £100 im sure if you make the effort to make the journey, the vendor will be only too happy to meet you at the other end!! :D i'd sell you my black G60...... ....but i love it too much 8)

have to agree, if the car is a good'un - which by the sounds of it, it is, it's definately worth travelling for. I bought a car in Glasgow about a year ago, and it was worth the journey - wot i spent on the journey was probably a fraction of what i would of had to spend on some of the crud i looked at locally to get them to that standard!! and like Henny said, enjoy the countryside, its beautiful up there, with some excellent roads for you to enjoy your new ride on!! go for it dude! 8)
