Aftelooking at wheels for a month, ive finally found a 4stud set i like and a reliable company to supply (after so many unreliable, incompetent, useless retailers) BUT i now dnt know wether to go 8x16 for the rears????? or 7s all round? Also if 8s will go straight on with no problems? finally is anyone certain what ET i need???

They look fantastic. nought wrong with them. They've been refurbished i guess????? or do i guess wrong?????

top pic looks much more stylish and smarter. i agree wiyh vr6- raise suspension SLIGHTLY. still the nicest looking white C ive seen as usually white makes em lokk ugly, square and boxy...............IMO.

Non-caustic traffic film remover should be used on all delicate finished wheels, most chemicals are okay if used correctly and not left on wheels more than 1min prior to being rinsed with plenty, plenty and plenty of pressured water. Acid should only be used on extremeley dirty and heavily break dusted wheels as TFR gets most wheels clean enough- its all common sense really.

Sorry to hear that mate. you should always be grateful of walking away from any car accident. i Hope you have lots of good fortune from now on. I feel bad asking but if the worst does happen and C is written off, i do love your wheels if ur ever interested in selling. pm me anytime.

Ive personally had rebuilt charger, de-cat milltek system, service and set-up. The car has stage4, 65mm pulley, chip, isv and lowered 40mm. After today im real happy with the power. was contemplating FMI but dnt like the idea of cutting stuff etc to make it fit. jst gotta renew few boost tubes, get altenator and wheels now and i'll be :D

Been to G-werks today for a set up on the engine cos it was pretty gutless. after couple of hours of playing and checking darren went out on a 120 mph test drive 8) . and she now runs like a dream pulling really well through all gears and revs. - hopefully running nearer the 190 bhp mark now. He's the man to go see if you have any problems. Mmmm RSR kit next i think.

Damn thats one sexy, mean looking, nice wheeled corrado- who cares if its an auto. Good buy mate and welcome to ze forum. how much insurance u getting shafted for???
-
This may have been previously mentioned, but, was anyone else peed off that the PVW mags calender had no corrado pics at all?

Im having a nightmare too. http://www.customfx.co.uk is my bst site so far. I will checkout the above sites too now.

Right on JIMJAM- keep it supple and care for it from day1. Painting them helps take your eye off the cracks, but the scars will never heal.

RED L reg VR^ in beechdown business park chineham, basingstoke.. Standard , needs a wax.
-
Im a bit vague on that one- i tried google search bbs alloy wheels and looked at quite a few. didnt write any down mate, sos.
-
Dont attempt that mate. its a very bad idea. Thats y u make it very slightly damp (less than damp) cos it dries in minutes, leave blowers on warm or windows open.
-
Ok ive ive found a site (http://www.customfx.co.uk) and the wheels on there are great, i have a list of another 6 im going to inquire about 2moz. Im hoping i can get the rondells to fit without too much hassle, if not theres some lurvely deep, shiney, 5+6 spoke wheels on this site at fair prices. it just seems that most of the decent wheels are 5 stud :-( so im struggling for a worthy 4 stud preferably/ideally.
-
I have been looking 4 over 3hrs for wheels, i finally came to http://WWW.CUSTOMFX.CO.UK I cant recommend it enough, pics are great and choice is superb. I think it will suit the taste of many of us. :D
-
This maybe a silly question? Does anyone know if the bmw 5stud fitments are same as vr6 hubs? IF NOT has anyone put bmw hubs on a corrado? Im just looking into rondell wheels, can getem for good price in 16"s- just got that slightly importatnt matter of making them fit

Yes any foam lift will work. must be used in small areas at atime. very lightly sprayed and lightly rubbed with a dry, clean rasg. dont expect it clean on first attempt. once uve completed it all lightly wait a week and do it again. Rubbing too hard (or scrubbing) and overwetting is waht causes sagging. be especially carefull if it has a cardboard backing- it wld be best left if u do. hope this helps.
-
Thanks gentlemen. Rondells seem to be the favourite. I know the bbs look good but seem to be too common for me! Porsche wheels imo are bit modern looking for me old C. My curent Favs are the Azev K's BUT they have got a hubcap appearence about them- I know i want deepdish style, shiney and different and smart and non-chav. I think Rondells are probably gona win though,. May have to get vr6 hubs though . Keep voting please as i'll be buying nxt month.

Im going for 16"inch wheels. these are what i have in mind. I do have a favourite. Please tell me what you think look best. Thanks.

Thats a real gorgeous looking C mate, like the inbumper repeaters. the dark pearl green is PERFECT. Excuse my ignorance, but is this a vr or g60????
-
Great colour.Corrados look their best with rolled arches=meaner, wider, intimidating presence. :onfire:

Superb power, and price/value reducing too. :) If u can get one, do it, make plenty of people jealous.
