  1. I bet that was one of those presents that they just couldn't disguise when they wrapped it.!
  2. I got mine from Halfords for about £60. I believe they still do them now slightly improved. Don't ask me for a model or anything but it takes up to 3 bikes at high level (so doesn't obscure th number plate) and more importantly allows free movement of your spoiler. I used mine to trek across Ireland with no problems and their roads aren’t the smoothest Cheers. :)
  3. All the ones that aren't broken or modified, so don't worry on that one. :-P
  4. Don't mend it if it's not broken. Put your money aside for when it does break IMHO.
  5. Simple..! Take off the badges, sell them, and mod away with the cash raised.... Only joking of course. Keep it standard unless easily reversed. If that dredded day comes where you might have to sell then the first thing buyers ask is "is it standard".
  6. Might be the handbrake cable not reurning fully back down the sheath that itis housed in causing the sensor there to be intermittent. The fluid reservoir is the obvious (and easier to remedy) problem so check that first. Does it come on when going up and down hills?
  7. That sounds silly Jim, you're not getting me with that one. I'll stik with the Dinkus method thank you very much.. :)
  8. Yer right about the lack of owners manual Rodders. I'm going back to sit in the car for a couple more hours
  9. Has anyone mastered (I'm sure you have) the variable speed intermittent wipers on your Corrado. I have had varying levels of success in adjusting this and I think it's something to do with switching to normal wipe from the intermittent mode and back again. This then seems to give me different pause times. :? Am I barking up the right tree...? or just barking..!
  10. Yeah, I thought that at first as well. I wondered if he didn't know which Storm to copy but it's just a trick of the light.
  11. I was told by a garage I used a lot when I owned a 16 valver that there are 2 possible thermostats listed for my car which operate at different temperatures. It was a while back now so I can't shed much more light on that, sorry :( . Worth checking out though. Beware of labour costs for changing a thermostat, apparently there a right pig to access.
  12. I think they look great, everyone's entitled to their opinion I suppose. Would you be saving the BBS solitudes for best or do they need some refurb work?
  13. Well I think it's probably not a bad thing that some sort of alarm goes off when ordering a McDees.
  14. It does sound strange, prices must be falling again. Where is it located? I'd love to have a neb at it myself.
  15. It's been parked up far too long I think.
  16. It's not got a Corrado Shell on it. :!:
  17. Don't forget that the insurance company won't be paying out a retail price, and anything you can acheive over trade price is a bonus. :( Of course we all know how good these cars are and what value they have in our own minds so keep pushing them because if they get fed up of you it might just tip the balance your way.
  18. My advice to you is "Get it driven mate.!" What benefit is there of hiding away a beast like that  . They give you that fantastic VR feeling on the road not in a garage. Look after it, keep on top of your maintenance and try not to park it in blummin' public car parks. Good luck. :D
  19. We're just a load of big kids aren't we.. When I replaced my 16 valver for a Storm the grin turned into something that hurts my ears now. It's a nice pain though. :D
