Can that be used on a VR? and how much do they cost?

I see, so there would be no point in just modding the bore, there should be other mods to really take advantage of this, I also assume that my insurance would go up as well?

I appologise for my stupidity. For some reason I was under the impression that I had 4 studs..................I just went to have a look and I have all 5.......... :oops: dont know what gave me that impression...and to think that i have spent weeks on ebay looking for some alloys with 4 studs................ :mad:

LOL. sorry for the dumb question. It is just that my C has 4 studs so I imagine the disks have been done at some stage. Strange .....maybe it has something to do with the drilled fronts.....................! Maybe i should get rid of them and replace the disks and brakes. Any suggestions of what to put in as far as how Big the brakes and disks can be? :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:

aaaaaaaaaaaaand..........It is definately worth hooking it up to a Vagcom.......there may be somebody in your area...! By the way, where are you?

As far as I have seen when I had this problem, It gradually decreased fuel consumption and then all of a sudden I was getting between 17 and 23 MPG which was harsh. If it is your Lamda, your C will also most likely (well in my case...) stall sometimes for no reason when you come to a stop and the Idling becomes erratic. Lamda from VW cost me £75 but it is the origional with a 1 year warrantee. I think this will resolve your issues. Mine is now happily getting between 24 and 37MPG :-P :-P :-P Good luck

Hi Guys I am trying to find out where to get all the components I need for getting my sunroof working again. I have looked on the forum and there are a few posts regarding sunroof issues but they tend to contradict each other when it comes to part numbers. Can anybody tell me what the part numbers are for all the components needed to get my VR's sunroof working again and where I can buy it? Greatly appreciate any help Oakley

I recently emptied a tank of fuel on my VR6, all 15 Gallons and made 436 miles from the tank but this was all on the motorway. My Lamda probe broke after that! Very wierd!

I would definately be game as far as that is concerned although most of what you just said went over my head - all i heard in my world was "My C will be even badder". you guys tell me what to do and I will do it is my attitude!!!! 8)

GB is when a whole bunch of us get together and order the same item from the same place, we normally get a good discount doing it that way!

LOL.....I know but the difference with the female C owners and my wife is that they know how to drive. No offense intended towards the female C drivers - just dont want my wife driving the same car as myself. I think it would scare me her having a nicely tweeked C and having her brag about a new conversion she has done. I would feel kinda small I think....! :oops: :oops: :oops:

LOL, my wife wanted a VR and I told her there was no way in hell will she degrade a C by driving the same one as me. I told her that C's are for the boys and that the girls should be standing on the sidewalk looking and not touching. :wink: Needless to say she was not impressed!
