  5. well at least ive seen someone who is known by someone on here!! there is always a vr6 parked down st benedicts street i think
  6. saw a nice blue m reg vr6 on dereham road in norwich this afternoon. the chap was in his 40's i would say and had a distinctive long beard. dont suppose any takers?
  7. you would only need to run a seperate feed to the head unit if the cable in the existing loom is of a smaller csa than the wiring for the permenant feed on the head unit. you can get away without a seperate feed on newer cars as the cables tend to be slightly bigger than older cars. cant remember how big the cables in the corrado are but i would suggest you put a bit of 6mm cable in and a 20A fuse to be on the safe side
  8. i thought foglights on during the day only gave 200bhp? i thought it was those tyre fly things that gave you the most increase in power? proven 427bhp on the rollers!

    Super Unleaded V

i was under the impression that BP ultimate is manufactured at 97 RON and shell optimax is manufactured at 95 RON and has octane additives added at a later date to make it 98 RON
  10. i might try some angry bees too, they seem to be a good mod. do you think the size of the jar will affect how much boost they make? i bet he could get 600bhp out of that engine..........a 400bhp shot of nitrous would sort that out!!! i just wanna be there when he presses the button!
  11. best place to get one from?
  12. turn the steering wheel REALLY hard is how ive done it before. you usually have to pull down on it to get enough leverage on it. good luck tho, what a sheite thing to happen
  13. excellent! i was told by the chap at powerflow there was no cat. dont suppose you know how much the decat pipe from supersprint is?
  14. im after a decat pipe and centre section of exhaust for my 91 G60. ive seen the centre section that i want which has no box on it which will effectivly make the exhaust straight through (apart from the back box). anybody got any recommendations as to where to get these parts from? im in norfolk but i suppose the parts can always be couriered. ive got a supersprint backbox and the quality of the parts is always good, hence choosing supersprint for the rest of the exhaust. teh other option is to get a custom exhaust from powerflow. i was quoted best part of £200 for centre section (back from the downpipe) which would presumably go to the backbox. any thoughts would be appreciated as always!
  15. im interested but again it would depend on the price!
  16. could someone please tell me when were the cats introduced onto the corrado? in particular the g60?
  17. the assister in question is about 7quid from the stealer if i remember correctly. mine broke and its a pain in the arse trying to lift the tailgate without it!!
  18. its pretty funny to watch their greasy faces when you nail it when they are crossing the road in front of you! keeps me entertained anyway!!
  19. to*ssers in white vans (doing 60) who pull out on you on a dual carriage way while you are doing 120 in the fast lane!brown trouser moment we thinks!
  20. spotted 2 in norwich last nite- blue (i think!) J reg 16 valve blue/grey h reg g60
  21. surely the only reason you need to run a turbo engine to "cool" the turbo down is because the turbo will still be spinning faster than the engine so it needs to spin down before you cut the oil supply to it. as the supercharger is directly connected to the engine you dont need to let it spin down as it will do this as soon as the engine reaches idle speed. just let the oil circulate for a couple of seconds and then switch it off and let the car cool itself down with the fan
  22. it shouldnt matter if you had alloys and whatever fitted, so long as you havent modified the part which was faulty then it shouldnt make a difference!
  23. the clip came off the lever on mine and caused the same sort of problems. lift off the gaitor and check for this clip
  24. immobiliser i would guess. having the same problems on a mk3 golf td/ just gonna rip the alarm out and this will sort the problem

    Burning CD's

thats kind of what i was getting at dr_mat! the price of cds is ridiculous as we all know how much a cd costs so it means that the fat cats producing the music are getting paid far too much! im all for copying cds (note to FACT- i dont own any such facilities, its me mate Dave who gets the cds, honest!)
