that bare cable is an earth cable. that is just screened flexible cable, nothing special. you will probably be able to get that from any large electrical wholesaler or RS or maplins like some other suggestions.

dont want to alarm you, but my oil pressure light started beeping and flashing and im now replacing the engine! i would really get it checked out especially as its a g60

my mates misses works at adrian flux and shes not dense so perhaps thats a little harsh? as for their insurance, brentacre undercut flux and were happy with all my mods so i had to go with brentacre. John was even asking me what i thought about certain mods and if they were worth doing! SOLD to the man in wales

sounds like an engine mount. check the bolt in the front mount hasn't made a run for it!

if your still hacked off with it, ill remove it from your driveway FOC and the sump will no longer be a problem!!

dont worry about making it fit, anything can be acheived with an anglegrinder and some air tools.... :norty: you know how it is round ours! as for insurance........just learn portuguese, they dont have insurance round here mate!!

shouldnt think it would be much off that price by the time u pay all the tax and crap. Darren is the man to speak to about bahn brenner stuff. ill ask him about it if i go down there at the weekend mate!!

get the pistons from where? will i need to gt oversized rings aswell?

have just taken my g60 apart to find number 1 piston is fooked and the bore is scored. so im wondering what is the best route to go down now? i see a few people have done 1900 cc conversions, so can anyone give me a guide price on said conversion? cheers Rob

where is the best place to get an oil pump for a g60 from? what is the difference between the oil pump on a PG engine and a PB engine? they are different part number so im told but i cant see why? cheers Rob

does the battery light start coming on when you hammer it up the road? mine did all this and gave me rubbish voltage readings. changed the voltage regulater and this cured it. £10 from GSF also check the lead that runs from the battery down to the starter motor

the light flashes as soon as you start the engine. the wires do feel really brittle which with the combination of heat and oil isnt unexpected.the blue temp sensor was replaced not long ago from VAG, so can anyone tell me the exact part number of the said sensor? think i night get some more oil pressure switches from GSF tomorrow and replace them and check the wiring while im at it. then once i can actually get it running then i can strip the engine out so i can rebuild it, YAY! i swapped over the blue temp sensor and voila it started. new problem...... the oil pressure light comes on on the dash. the beeper doesnt go off though which is a little strange. have checked the oil and its fine in both colour and level. now this reads to me as either a oil pressure sensor failure or something much more serious. could someone please enlighten me as to which is more likely?!?!?! does anyone actually have a corrado which has nothing wrong with it?! battery voltage is ok, turns over with no problems. the pump primes but i havent had any pipes off to check its pumping will turning over. if i went to it after a couple of hours, it will fire briefly and then cut out. after this it will just turn over. thing is it doesnt sound right when its turning over. hard to describe but its just turning over and not making any attempt to fire. its making me pull my last 3 hairs out i tell you!!!! hi, as suggested my g60 won't start! the engine turns over but it sounds flat and is not making any attempt to fire. it did this the other day and finally started after a long time cranking it over and once it was warm it started fine. now its cold it doesnt want to know. the car is garaged aswell so its not like it as cold as it would be outside. after my new alarm fob braking,my heating packing up and then finding the stem seals are gone, im at my wits end! please help!!!
