errr budget is all gone on 268, schrick, large throttle remap etc etc as you well know.. Just looking for a few ideas until the end of the year

marvelous and still using standard speakers so far as its only had original Blaupunkt and No butchered wires either. Well In my golf I just changed the head unit (CD) and the improvement was awsome.. However the head unit was pretty shit radio and tape.... So what about up grading to mini disc. Is there a gain over CD... The head unit Ive got looks new-ish lots of features on it that I dont understand. Maybe its the speakers My boss drives a boxster and uses the ipod running off a standard porsche radio he like that set up (interesting information for you

. The little toggle switch is to do with your Clifford alarm. Are you sure - The back of the switch has the audi and vw sign on it......(There are wires going from it ///// This switch doesnt seem to do anything.... :roll:

i would have put it in a switch blank myself so as not to damage the dash or is there a blank there anyway as i have the early type controls so i dont know Anyone know what the left button/switch is

Hi... Sounds are important but usually leave them to last.. Anyway the quality is crap. Im new to the corrado so can someone comment on the corrado's loud speakers.. Im getting on abit so im not up with the lastest stuff... The head unit is pioneer Is it wise to replace speakers. head or both cheers

Funny really The chef in my local pub has a black 03 wrx/sti scooby thing.. Hes had it from new Spent over 7 thousand on the engine. remaps and bigger turbo stuff.. Its like 500bhp 0.60 in 4.3 seconds... A very quick car. He said to me the other day. That he wants to sell it and buy rear wheel drive BMW - M-series.... I wish the corrado was rear wheel drive

Havent a clue. The vw motorsport Item is so old you could put it in corrado and call it a classic. Can anyone comment on this " If you ceramic coat the underside of the manifold, heat emissive coat the top. Put an air-flow aid coating on the insides. This combined with 268cam intake is good for 220 bhp 40ib/ft torque---- The figures sound about right. However havent heard of the ceramic coates etc :roll:

I went completely mad a few years ago ----bought the Power boost and that ecotek.. I can remember trying to convince a friend of mine (car mechanic). That these two products were amazing. He looked, read the instructions and laughed. Didnt believe him at the time :oops: Do now

The squeek factor on ecotek is awsome and mpg went up by 1mile per gallon... Liked the gold piperXcross filters... Cool

Way TO MUCH and only get 100 pounds back if I return my standard throttle body....However It was easy picked up phone ordered it job done...!

just read the other thread on throttle bodies 2.8 and the 2.9 have the same size butterfly. However the 2.8 has a lump of metal in it. This helps with smoothness or something. So whats the larger 2.9 throttle body.... Oh Ill have to check out AMDs web site and find my own answer

To be honest its a whole lot easier to buy from stealthracing... So Ive gone a head and booked the car in for the 13 December 2004 for schrick cams268 and schrick manifold £1200 manifold £500 cams + fitting + remap = £2900 so about £1200 for a remap+fitting. No mention of valve springs............
