elite in MK charge about 1100 for a full respray and dent repairs including smoothing rear panel. its like chris says the most expensive isnt always the best i know of a car painted by premier that looks rough after 4 years. i had a mk1 golf painted by a coachworks company that did bentlys astons etc but they ruined the car had to take them to court! but i know a small place in bedford who do amazing work for very little money because they enjoy doing different cars not just mondeos all day long.!

what sort of bit did you use in the dremmel is what im trying to find out, one of the grinding stones? heard people using flap wheels?

just about to put my DX bolt supplied by tempest on what sort of socket removes the old pulley bolt is it a spline drive? also Tempest if you read this i take it the package just included a bolt and a washer? just it came open in the post.

yeah its a us vr, SLC stands for: Super Lively Coupe'?? Slow Loosers Coupe'!? Sick Looney Coupe'.... were all names vw usa considered before settling on Super Low Coupe'...god im tired

simple really gsf or vag? what do people reckon for cam cover, throttle body gaskets just planning my next assault! also can you buy the surround on its own for late fogs and indicators (the black bit)

yup but then so is one of those fancy aluminium steering wheel bosses its a style versus safety issue and the style always wins on here buy the looks of things

fitted a strut brace and one coilover, one brembo and disk one bbs rc which all fitted!!!! and detailed my headlights. and er lent agianst it and chatted to Bally!

just a bit!, when i first tried them they didnt fit but then i realised i hadnt done the allen bolts up that hold them to the adapter plates! they look soo cool!

hopefully by sunday got the strutbrace on today as well looks very nice, i just need to remove the stud thats stuck int the hub then its all plain sailing (hopefully)!!

OH YES THE BBS CLEAR THE BREMBOS!!!! sorry to shout but phew!!! see pic there is like 2mm to spare an the top edge so close it looks factory!!

hmm not saying it isnt true but first ive heard of bedding shocks in slowly on motor bikes and mountainbikes you are encouraged to do it hard! (and certain other places)
