get rid of the tassles and stupid stickers of the maltese cross and yeah i like it, im loving passat estates at the minute that baloe from cleaned has a gorgeous one and the guy on here who brought jimsg60 has one now. Have toyed with the idea of a v6 4motion estate completely smoothed. as a daily toy but i think my taste would change after the millionth person asking why im driving my grandads car!
-

contact gavin on the forum he makes the high quality looms if you got yours off ebay then the bin unfortunatley is the best place for it! i had one and the headlights came on when the car was turned off!

-
not to worry the search continues for those elusive last bits!

im talking about the plastic clips that hold the sill trim on they push into0the floor and also hold the carpet in place. i ordered some new from vag, but when they came they are a different type they are too small for the hole in the floor is there another piece that clips into the floor? the part number is correct and tallies with ekta i assume they have changed the design at some point but i cant see how they are going to fit.
-
just seen this thread, crazy! it would takea fair whack over what i paid for mine to get the keys, now stop selling cars and get my bits sent over!! :D
-
the door handle kits take 5mins max to fit and are a bargain! what ive found helps is take the rado off the road for a week and take a good look at all the wiring fix anything that needs fixing just sort anything out you find wrong your almost guaranteed a few months trouble free motoring just in my humble opinion!

ive just put late fogs into an early bumper had to reemove the plastic backing but not all of it. im sure you could do it the other way around you might have to fabricate a small strip in the middle of the apature but not too hard i shouldn't think

painted the battery tray and anti rust treated it, wire brushed the battery clamp and enamel painted it red for some reason!! replaced the clamp bolt with a nice stainless one! oh and put the battery back in. is it ott to replace a perfectly good bosch silver battery because the stickers have fallen off?? :D

the electric mech screws in with 4 screws easy to see then pull the wires out of the back plug the new one in (the terminals are labelled with the colour of the corresponding wire handily!) insert screws tighten and bobs yer uncle!!i have just done it but it still didnt work!!
