Son of a Beesting, hate to say it.. but thats life. :) I work in a main dealer and deal with traders on a daily basis. Its not a way of screwing people out of money, people have a choice of where to buy a car. okay, the £1800 margin may sem big now, however the trader has potential costs including MOT's, wheel refurbs, paintwork, guarantees, disks/pads etc to factor in. they also expect to take a knock on the screen price and have to give 17.5% away. by the time running costs of the place & staff commisions etc are factored in theres not a huge amount left. Im not saying its not a pain to see a cheap car get sold in the trade, but business is business. :( im sure the right car will come along for you.

I was driving a 16v, and then changed to a G60 when i started doing higher miles. for the journey i was doing i found the G more economical as you had power at lower revs.. also overtaking was much easier! mines been bulletproof *finds wood to touch* and ive had to spend very little on the engine, except for things ive wanted to.

i have a leak which only seems to be on the pass side rear seat and then onto the rear carpet. cant be windscreen etc related due to volume of water on the seat. annoying bit is that my sunroof doesnt slide, so i cant access drainage holes to clear them

Not a big surprise when the majority of BMW drivers are the biggest nobs on the road, treating everyone else like a swarm of begging kids to be ignored and pushed out the way.. And just the look of a BMW (particularly the bangled ones) screams "I'm a smug git".. All IMHO.. ;) catch22.. no one shows any love to BMW drivers, you'd wait forever for someone to let you out at a junction etc so you have to push everywhere..
