dr_mat, what level would you expect to see oil pressure get to before going above 3500? I have a guage i'm not getting round to fitting! My car does generally go above 3500 before 86 deg, as i'm not far from the dual carridgeway i go to work on.. however if im stuck in traffic im okay!

my corrado owning mate has a chinese wife. she'd be more than happy to make contact with VW china and see whats available. At worst, he would bring/post stuff back on their next trip out there [prob chinese new year-feb] Will left hand heater controls fit in right hand dash? Can someone work out if the aircon will fit? Basically in this case the claim will be paid out by the third party's insurers. This means Gina's insurance company will only argue on her behalf up to the value she stated when the policy was taken out. Your premium is based on this value. It's a catch 22 situation. My G60 is insured for £2000 TPF&T, Based on the fact that as i would not be covered if i caused an accident anyway, i'd rather make my premium as cheap as possible. I have good contacts in the insurance industry and would be capable of fighting my corner if i had to claim from a third party. [as it happens, i am doing this at the moment!] If my policy was fully comp, i would only go through an insurer who provides an 'agreed value' policy. [however, as Henny will say, this is not always perfect :mad: ] GinaG As already recommended, contact VW for proof. Provide adverts for similar cars to show the 'real world' sales prices [check here and auto trader] Reccommend that an independant assessor checks the car over. They should really be the person to contact VW, but thats never gonna happen! May think of more advise in the morning... but its nearly bedtime! BTW.. 'ooh ahh just a little bit' :wink:

Personally i was never a fan of the FK debadged, until i saw NickVR6's in my rear veiw. As said, it does look aggresive. I'll be going for a reiger with spolier section sprayed at some point..

I've been told contrasting views by different wheel specialists: The spiggot rings don't carry load, they transfer it to the hub. You can't expect the cars weight to be held on just the bolts. Spiggot rings make no difference. When spacers are used the hub is generaly covered, and the wheel is bolted without.. this wouldnt be done if spiggot rings were needed. personal opinion.. no idea, but would always use em anyway, just in case!
