vr6 storm... bargain or not(UPDATED 14TH OCT)
moneypit23 replied to VR6 Lee's topic in General Car Chat
Add Gemma to it and i bet the quotes go well down. TBH you should have really checked the insurance beforehand :nono: -
I'm pretty sure the words wobble and bolt shouldn't be in the same sentence. Personally i wouldn't use them.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas 9/10 Almost made me cry :(

I'm sure the tax on my 16v was the same as the VR so you may as well buy one of those. Start the insurance nightmare once you have a postcode, i couldn't get quotes without one when i moved to a new area.

Thanks for that.

I like them on the rear :help: what is happening to me?
-
I was thinking about doing this because mine appear to be made from different materials and as a result, one particular bit just doesn't stay black at all  I was also wondering what to use to stick them back on. Is there special tape or something? I just can't see regular double sided tape doing the job. Front splitter is on the paint list as well. I must stop reading this thread as my 'to do' list is growing again.

What could be more sensible than your Corrado? Four seats, big enough boot and passes the MOT first time :)

Most of us have the same problems it seems. Say sorry when i hit a speedbump or pothole. Line the heater controls up the same way (about 10 o'clock) when not in use. Both windows opened the same amount when going slowly. Quick game of 'Guess the MPG' after 10 minutes on the motorway. Cig lighter the right way up. Always promising to sort the little draught from the interior door handle but never doing it (got chrome ones now and they get cold) Slowing down when going passing full size shop windows and having a look. Looking back when walking away to a) make sure the handbrake is on and b) because it looks so damn good :D

The bit of plastic was still available when i needed one about 3 years ago. It was labelled as 'air guide grille' on the invoice and was about £45 from VW. PS Steelies are cool!

West Bridgford - AVOID! Well, at least the dizzy bint behind the desk.

I miss my old local stealer (Hyde) :( New local one in Nottingham is a bit pants. Nice work btw, its making me want to get up early and sort mine bit by bit. What did you use to clean the leather? I did mine with Autoglym leather cleaner the other day but it smells of cat wee and there didn't appear to be any change.

Some people have had so many jobs and so many interesting jobs.. since school i have been a waitress in a posh restaurant worked in Game blagged a job as a sous chef in a pub worked at Toys r us (lots of fun!) had various jobs at the same fresh produce supplier working all manner of unsociable hours designed and built horseboxes and trailers Now i'm a design and technology (metalwork/woodwork for the oldskool) teacher which can be fun at times, no two days are ever the same and the best bit is probably the 13 weeks a year holiday!!! -
Pretty sure that shoudn't happen after just 3 years, especially to something which is TUV approved and i would consider sending that picture to Koni. Warranty stuff http://www.koni.uk.com/home/content/view/90/128/ I would fit a cheap kit in the meantime since they should be readily available and you may be waiting ages for something secondhand to come along.
