Nice one big Chris. Us brits allways git sh.t on, mainly because most including me roll over and take one in the council gritter. We dont complain or retaliate nearly enough. HUB - correct! personally id much rather see lots of specialist stamps in the history 10 times over a book of vag stamps, which is all it is nowadays! it used to be worth a lot, not anymore. Ive yet to see anything good from a dealer this way. The garage i work at however are very very deligent, because all there business now is loyal customers and word of mouth reccomendation. Although the dealer monkeys dont care about any of that, if it carries on it will burn the company in time.

great price, you should easy get twice that for them. seen people running these on mk3s and cs. dont think the tyres will be any good to you though on any wheel size, the profile is too high, and they are 17s arnt they??

mate, i really feel for you. you car looks that absolute dogs too, it really does. keeping everything crossed for a good outcome on this one bud -
These should be ok with 205/40s, but its depends on how low you are. If your standard you have no worries, prob even if your down 30-35ml. i was down 40mm with 8x17s no problem (205/40/17s) Ride will be crashy though, if your not used to it will be a shock, which is why im back on 16s!

yep! ive posted the story before, it sucks and so do they. Its the closest ive ever been to hurting someone properly. you like to look after the folks when you know there being screwd. If i didnt have a wife and child it would have been worth doing time for

every dealer ive ever been to has been uterly discusting, and even when they do do a job for that kind of money they feck it up. Wasnt allways like this. The old man has had vws for 30 years, walking in every 4 yrs and paying cash for a new car. Dream customer you would think. But after the way he's been treated since having his 1.8t gti he will never ever touch another vw again. Which is sad i think, and whos loss!?

It was a new item, they have s epereate case locked with all the reduced gear in. TBH i usually buy direct and have used the link mentioned above, but occasionally Halfords come up trumps. This is a full on 7inch widescreen motorised pioneer unit labelled up as Ripspeed, but in actually fact its a pioneer 5700 dvd unit, which are 550-599 cheapest mail order. This is well under £400, so you cant touch it bar jap imports or the JVC avix i had before, which in the end has nearly paid for the new one lol. (Didnt sell it on here, to a mad mate with too much money in the end!) Anyway, this was a new product and i went back with it today, guys was gobsmacked and really embaressed. Picking up a "new" one tommorrow fingers crossed!

I have a receipt for a VAG head gasket on mine 2 months before i bought it. It had done 106k and they didnt even ask if he wanted the chains done, muppetts! Guess what the HG bill was..............................................£978. Yep, just a head gasket, not one other thing on the bill, now thats ripper and no mistake!

well ive dumped it down now 58/59 and set everything as soft as poss and its much better. Wouldnt call it great but its livable with now, just! not crash just bouncy and solid!17s not an option on 40s! cant knock the quality tbh they look the dogs, and its all personal taste. I just like keeping my teeth in!

Well a year ago i bought a head unit and it had obviously been used and the face was scratched. Very appologetic, but we went through 3 boxes to find a new one!! Well its just happened again. Got it home and guess what, scratch face, bent cage tabs, no instructions and empty plastic baggs inside and 2 of the 4 tabs broken off the surround, and we are not talking a £100 item either. What a bunch of utter cowboys   :x :x You've been warned, open it up in store!! This was from 2 different stores too!!

mate, makes my blood boil. Happened to my old mans 2nd car, a mint 53k 5 1986 5 cyl audi coupe. They broke all the glass, but they did it with a scafold poll. So they caught all the pillars whilst doing it. He got the glass replaced but rust proofed and left the dents. Ruined what used to be a one off car. cnuts need stringing up by their ging gangs. any chance they wandered by any premisis with cctv before or after?? wont help with the filth, but its allways nice to get your own back, i have before and boy did it feel good!

Trimsport cannot do a rear strut brace group buy!

Apparantly there is a 1cm difference in production tollerance from the production line. They have to make these to fit the happy medium. My car is at the narrow end of the spectrum. Having said that, Morris is dropping a slightly narrower one off to my house early this week to replace it. Now you can't say fairer than that can you!! Top bloke, and that a refreshing change these days. -
I've just fitted my Konigsports today and the ride is just awfull! I havnt set it up properly yet, but its that bad im a bit worried tbh. had the shocks set half way and not a silly drop. Looking at how they work whilst fitting them, i can see that the ride quality probably improves the lower you go bizzarly!

Anyone here had a thermostat pack in on them while driving?
NickVR6 replied to matth76's topic in Engine Bay
had mine go at 3 figures in my golf vr6. First thing i spied was the flashing red water light, prob only because it was dark! I was 8 miles from homeat 3 in the morning so i let it cool down, drove 2 miles and knocked it off and so on until i got home. Had it fixed and did another 30k sweet as a nut, and sol it to a mate who has taken it over 150k now and its still going strong and quiet. I wouldnt worry so long as you didnt run it for an hour! Might be the water pump making that noise if it had run dry? -

I fitted my Konigsports, and flock me allmighty the ride quality is diaboloical!! Still got some tweaking to do but if it was 200x better it will still be bl..dy awful, i hate them already, although they looks nice off the car.

John, i totally agree, the price is more than fair and Maurice is one of the nicests guys ive ever spoken to. Happy to chat dubs all day long! Mine is fantasticaly well made and finished and was very safely packaged. Unfortunately it wont fit my car though. Its either too long or my car is bent, or im trying to fit it wrong!? -
