Blimey, this moves on a lot every day!! You going to need to stock up on redbull mate!! Loving it so far

Its obvious why the classic car fraternity get special rights and modded dub owners don't. Just think about how many coppers and MPs run classic cars and how many run raddos etc.......there you go! Same as pot holes and sorting the roads out in this country. Apparantly its because there not too bad, yeah well, they dont feel that bad sat in the back of a 3 ton double galazed soggy a..ed jag with someone else getting the steering feedback (if there is any). All these issues are about money at the end of the day, cameras cant see you, loss of money to them. Plates slightly wrong, easy prey.fine. Speed cameras dont pay for themselves to be put up you know............mmmm, actually, perhaps they do! GB = LOL, your better off being a rapist than a speeder in this country. "PETTY b...ocks all of it imo

Im jelous of the fantastic panel fit actually, and its all been done very well which i can allways apreciate. Not my bag at all though, except i actually like the rims, if they were 8 rather than 17J.
-
Ill study the map and have a think about how best fits in with you Andy. I could come back from stealth and then down to poole possibly. Much apreciated mate it really is.
-
holey smoke, thats a treck! i go fishing in poole quite a bit, youll prob drive past my house! What time are you heading back??
-
thanks guys, spoilt for choice already! Im actually going to stealth on saturday, which is A34 so Andy that may be a goer mate. Ill study the map. Where are you starting from/heading too, so as not to take you too far out of your way. Happy to cover all costs obviously.

I've just bought a new VR head, its pick up only from Burton on Trent. Being a Southern boy I must confess i've never been there but im assuming its a fair old whack from the south coast :? Is there anyone that could pick it up for a fee and keep hold of it until either a meet in between or until i can save up enough for the petrol tanker to follow me up? Bit cheeky but obviously id cover all costs and sort some mutiple beer action out! :?: :-P

Very nice wheels mate!! one of my all time favourite styles, are the avez A's? LOVELY, this cars going to be another stunner before long by the looks.
-
I've tinted my originals all red, well nearly. If you want a cheap set im getting rid of my inpro M3s, bought from venom the day before E38 a few months back. Can give you more details if your interested but if not i was going to keep em as spares or wack them on the FS for £40 ish. All depends on the colour of your car, I agree with Dave, prefering the smoked look, but im not buying another set, got chains and clutch to buy first!

Only just seen this Daz. I reckon your guna crack it mate. Looks like you've got a get on with attitude so i reckon its all going to be done. Good work mate, id love to have the courage to pull mine apart like that. Tiz going to be rather nice when its done!!!!!!

My OBD1 golf 2.8 definately felt like it had more torque than the corrado at low revs. The wifes vento 2.8 is obd2 and is much smoother than my C, and definately has more responce lower down. The corrado feels a lot quicker than the golf at high revs, and a little better than the vento. OBD2 is much better for round town/traffic driving on a light throttle. Allways end up pulling onto roundabouts in 2nd, which my C wont have any of. I still like obd1, its raw and has character lol.

"Look, theres someone shorter than Nick"

WTF Marcus, whats going on, whys the car going mate!!!!!!!!! If anyone is interested this is one of my favourite corrados, it is bueatiful. One of the best ive ever seen. Want to swop it for my VR mate!?

When i bought my car it had "an uprated headlight loom", but most people that have seen the wiring would describe more as a WTF is that. Anyway, mine caught fire and melted all the wires and turned the relays into liquid, so i need to rip the lot out and start again to get mobile. I need the car for tuesday so wondered if anyone anywhere near me has anything I could use or any advice to get me by until i can get a new loom from magic or someone? Had some great luck until today! in the same outing my door handle broke, the sunroof stopped working and the cable sheared off the starter motor, lol. Shes going well though :D

Nice one Trigg, really glad its all bang on. I know the wifes Vento does feel completely different and much more modern and generally better behaved. But without feeling over damped/computerised like the latest boxes all seem to. Like your final comment too re the forum members. Certainly missed not being able to get on here and chat for the last month. Cant wait to see your car in the flesh at some point this summer, looks superb!

Im finally moving house after more chain stress than a 300k VR. Anyway, im not moaning here as im lucky to have a garage at present, which due to pikey t.atts round here I have to relijously put my car in every night. Presently i can just squeeze out of the door but im allways getting caught on the window rubber or catching my belt on the door pin getting back in etc, but hey its a small price to pay. Anyway, new garage i have just found out is too narrow!! I can drive the car in ok but the only exit route is the boot!! WTF Why do they build garages so bl..dy narrow!!!!!!!!! What do you lot do or shall i just buy a car cover?? Its a better area, but the mortgage means less toys :( correction from the wife no more toys :?

Not good at 40, poor chap. Sweet car mate, very nice indeed. oh, and if you want to get rid of those speedlines...........
-
well i have done my best to keep quiet about it tbh. Firstly i will say John (JMR) helped me out of a tight spot when he should have been sunday roasting it with the kids and didnt want anything for it (rear axel bushes), and the delivery time on the milteck was very 1 day. However, yes, my milteck including cat bypass has been on and off the car 6 times now in total. The large t peice hanger was at least 3 inches out where it was welded, regarless of how much you cut of the strraight mid pipe. Ive seen an S6 system which looked awsome and fitted spot on, not so the raddo system. Im very disappointed and will go Magnex next time, purely for fitment ease, but i dont have the money to change it right now, and its still not 100%. The reason i havnt said anything is because i should have gone back to John, as in my experience he would have sorted it for me. However i didnt, i left it for months before trying to do it myself so though it unfair to go back after that amount of time and chopping!

Sweet mate. But i want to know who did your speedlines!! They look mintastic!! What happened to the poor guy that sold it then?
