Both vw badge and the corrado badge are now black. Think de-wipering the rear is the next job, although it seems a silly time of year to do it! :) Also got myself a new camera to have a play with!

Parked up next to a guy just getting out of his car in a car park earlier. Had the classic "You don't see many of them about these days" He went on to say how much he loved the Corrado. He then started talking about his car and how rare it was as well, think he was fishing for a compliment but I just couldn't humour him.......he was driving a Rover MG convertible! :D

N reg blue VR6 parked up just off Station Road in Chingford at about lunchtime today. Looked pretty standard. Anyone on here?

Can honestly say there has only been one moment into my Corrado ownership where I thought I'd made a mistake. Was 2 days after I'd bought my first one and it started spewing coolant all over the place. Thought I'd bought a dud and was screwing. Once I got that sorted I've never looked back, can't see myself owning anything else. It's always been my daily and I suppose I can see myself retiring it for weekend use only in the future but can't see myself ever getting rid of it. In between my first and my current VR6 I had a polo GTi for a year and there wasn't a day when I wasn't looking around for a new C.

I've just had kw v1's fitted and had the 4 wheel allignment done at the time. If I adjust the height a little will I have to get the allignment done again or will It be fine?

Any thoughts on the height, I'm thinking of raising it a little. Gonna leave it for a while to see if I can get used to it first. Am I right in thinking that if I mess around with the height I'll need to get the four wheel allignment re-done?

Lovely looking green storm up at AmD in lakeside this morning! Almost felt ashamed parking mine next to it!

Just ordered my kw v1's and having them fitted on Thursday! Can't wait to finally having a sensible ride height and not the off road look you get from the factory!

Cheers, took it back to VW this morning and should have the correct one by Tuesday.

My headlight switch recently packed up so I went to VW and ordered a new one. I've gone to fit it today and the connector is very slightly different. I've included a couple of pics below to explain but the old one has an extra connector and there seems to be the wrong shaped piece of plastic to slot into the adaptor. The way I see it I have a few options. Either bring it back and see if they can order the correct one, snap off the plastic and hope for the best or just try to take the switch apart and transfer the new switch onto the old housing. Any ideas?

It seems the only person who actually has them seems to think they are fine for what they wanted them for. Even if you have to renew them every couple of years they are still a cheap option. I wouldn't recommend if you were to going to be doing any track driving or were particularly heavy with your right foot normally but if you just want a cheap set purely for the look then I suppose they are worth a punt! I'm still going to save for some kw's though.

Always wondered who had mine before me, N569 EKR although I think it was originally on a private plate L1 MCR. Satin Silver VR6.

Looks good Abdul, I knew when I took you for a quick blast in mine that it wouldn't be too long before you got your own. :) Couldn't get used to the smoked rears on mine though so I've gone back to originals again, promised I'd give you 1st dibs if I sold so if you want them let me know. Otherwise I'll put them up for sale again in a few days.

Saw a couple on my way up to Durham on Friday. Around 4pm on the M25 convoyed for a bit with a red one then on the M1 up by northampton, I think, had another mini convoy with a dragon green VR. I was in the Silver VR.

Spotted a heavily modded Candy White in unknown variety on Station Road in Chingford on Saturday night. I was in the silver VR6. Gave a flash and got a belated flash of the warning lights! Anyone on here?

My temp guage seems to only work when it wants to. I did cheat and reset the MFA as I hit the M25 but was still impressed!
