I'll definitely have the throttle cable and a speedo surround if it's still available. PM me the details of where to send the money.
-
So judging by that I'd need the 'a' This is my chassis number Still not too clear actually. Mine seems to fall between the two!
-
Think the part code I'm after ends in 'a' but not completely sure. Think I'll take it anyway then if it's the wrong one at least I'll know for sure one way or another.
-
I'll take the VR6 Throttle Cable if it's for the latest model.
-
Well, PayPal have given me my money back. I'd have much rather had the lenses though. No communication at all from the seller!
-
I still have them fitted to mine. Really like how they suit the car.
-
Heard nothing so have opened up a disputed payment via PayPal. Really frustrating.
-
I'm going to give them a full month before I try to make a claim. Hopefully it'll be here by then and I won't have to.

I placed an order on the 6th Feb(through http://www.originalgermanfolks.com/corrado.htm) and haven't heard anything yet! Sent an email requesting an update and still nothing. Money was paid through paypal instantly so getting a little worried. Anyone order from them recently?

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
Skills replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Thanks Dave, arrived friday and the guy at my garage said it was a brilliant little kit! Drivers door now fixed, will probably wait till the passenger one fails (which it inevitably will do) to sort out that side. -
Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE

Wish I'd followed up my query earlier. Had someone drive into my drivers door and was hoping they would fix the handle as part of the insurance repair. No such luck though. Cars in for it's MOT at the moment and need the kit now to fix it. I've pm'd and sent the money over. Many thanks. -
Have these gone? Or more to the point has the drivers door gone?

My drivers door handle gave up last week. Are the kits still available? -
Can't see myself ever selling it at the moment. Couldn't replace it with anything anywhere near as fun for the money.

My ticket arrived yesterday so will be there for the weekend. -
Needed a new expansion tank for the MOT but otherwise it sailed through. Was down on power when I got it back though. Just seemed to stutter slightly when putting my foot down. Had a look under the hood and one of the new spark plugs wasn't connected properly. All in now and with the new leads it seems to have a whole new lease of life! It drove well before but just seems to have more power and a much smoother delivery now. Started just going out for a drive for the sake of it again. Time to treat it to a wash now I think.

Going in for it's service and MOT today. Only changes recently are the rear wiper removal and a bit of problem solving with the stereo draining the battery. Turned out to be the way it was wired up and the ignition swith. All sorted now and have just been enjoying it. Definitely going to get some spacers in the next month though.

I've exactly the same one in mine. Looks fine when in and is really useful. ---------- Post added at 10:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:22 AM ---------- Mine's screwed in between the console and the carpet, pretty sure it could be removed without a trace.
-
I've still got one but can assure you it'll not be getting sold anytime soon. In fact I can't see myself ever getting rid of it to be honest. Will hopefully end up as a 2nd car/weekend toy eventually.

Had my best chufty ever tonight on the way home from work. Pulled up at the lights next to a DeLorean, driver looks over at the Corrado and says to me "Lovely car mate, bet it's quick. Would definitely have mine up to 88".

Right, just spent the afternoon trying to replace the ignition switch and that bloody screw did my head in! After first trying to unscrew it and then resorting to trying to force it off I gave up! Having put everything back together again though the original problem has disappeared! All that banging and trying to force the screw out has obviousely sorted out the loose connection......for now at least! Happy days!
