It depends how competent a mechanic you are To pay a 'proper' firm to do it, you'll be lookin arond $4k ish, depending on which mods you go for

I always use Morris 10w50 fully synthetic on my G60

Its at the front of the air box and on the bottom half, if you cant see it, its possibly been removed already and you will be left with a hole

That maserati's 10k engine re-build didnt do it much good

My mates mk2 16v was in the Golf magazine shootout a couple of months back His has got an ABF bottom end, with KR P+P head, a fancy gearbox and its pretty well stripped out Its only 183bhp, but does 14.5 quarters and 0-60 in 5.? You dont need massive power for a rapid car (think power to weight) Hope this helps mate

Totally agree My last car was a Golf mk2 8v, this car was pretty quick from little revs, Goin to a 16v was very hard, i found it hard revvin it so much, but I havent got that fear now, lol

Anyone had any experience of SFS. They do a hose kit for the 16v, and theres a company sellin them on ebay for around £85, which is a fair bit cheaper than Samco Anyone had a set??
