I would like one of these, not as a replacement for my corrado. My dad nearly brought one of these about 3 years ago, but the garage wouldnt give him a decent price for his Jag, so he brought a Saab V6 instead :censored:
-
Looks like a good buy. I brought my first rado off ebay and it was a brilliant car, never went wrong
-
Would have thought it was a boost leak, had a similar thing when i refitted my charger in the summer and all it was, the piece of samco off the rsr outlet hadd popped off on one end, therefor a mahooosive boost leak and drivin a bag of poo

Love my car, had a modded 16v before and I much prefer the G60
-
What a top magazine, I look forward to that as much/more as PVW and I am a true dub head
-
Do people actually believe stuff like this....
-
I feel for you mate I couldnt imagine partin with my G60.

Nice bit of road that andy, thats not too far from where i live (Not too far from leek) :) -
Wasnt it featured in readers rides in pvw about 1 year ago. Think it had keskin KT1's on
-
Couldnt imagine ownin anythin other that a vw, had them since i passed my drivin test. Too many good memories
-
I'll second that Decent filter (i always use genuine vw) or somethin like a k+n, drill the air box on the wing side and take the trumpet out of the front bottom half of the air box
-
Of the the same mates had a mk2 fitted with an ABF bottom end, it can be done, but there are some issues with the throttle body touchin the bonnet, not sure about the rado tho
-
Thought you said it had a 'de-cat' fitted
-
Totally agree, I love it. If all they did was test the latest fancy cars for an hour, im sure it would get borin and they would probably run out of cars after about 2/3 episodes
-
I think its very similar to the 9a, neither of my mates have mentioned any major headaches As for the mileage, that isnt too high for a valver, my old valver had 140k+ on the clock and it was sweet as a nut. I know one lad who's valver had done 200k without a bottom end rebuild (think it was very tired though towards the end)
-
What about a 6a from an audi 2 of my mates have these (one is fitted into a mk2 golf and one into a Jetta) Think these are maybe more available, you might be lucky and buy a whole car for a few hundred quid and sell the parts off the car????
-
Go to your local powerflow place, im sure they will sort you out a s/s replacement box
-
My old valver had one fitted from TSR, it was 4 years old when i sold it and had no probs with it... Dont know who's make it was tho
-
That to55er with the corrado has deleted my post off youtube and sent me a message sayin 'fcuk off' This that has concreted my opinion of him, what a prick!!!
-
PMSL!!!
-
Cleanin the isv doesnt always cure them mate, Anychance of you borrowin one off a friend to put on your car to try it??
-
The switches are different on early and late ones They are a different shape Im pretty sure they should be the same as the golf A late mk2 switch should be the same as an early corrado A mk3 switch should be the same as a later corrado

Maybe try and get it set up at your local garage My old valver went strange after i changed the cambelt, set the timin up right and the engine was flat as a pancake I then re-checked the timin, which was right To cut a long story short, i ended up takin it to the local vw garage, they tested the co, and for some reason the mixture was out, they set it up and it was perfect again Very strange!!!! Might not work for you, but worth a go, coz the garage didnt even charge me
-
can any body tell what the name of this engine part is?
Rob Heath replied to owensluke's topic in Engine Bay
I would second that
