  1. If anyone wants a high quality picture for a wallpaper or whatever, let me know :)
  2. Here are pictures for you guys, still not to my standard of clean but thought I'd at least post something up. (Excuse the "MS Paint" blocking of the number plates  )
  3. See the weird thing is, I think I have the #3 cos of the yellow time tag etc etc, the video quality is spot on, the only thing that is kinda rubbish on mine is the wind noise which is far from the being similiar to the videos I have on Youtube taken by this camera, I dont understand it
  4. Wow, I like all the different angles they show!!
  5. Hahaha, I guess this is obviously making a few people quite happy?
  6. Dont get me wrong, the Rado now feels stupidly slow in comparison (mine is not turbo'd... yet :norty: ), obviously, but the experience, the feel, the magic, the x factor, is there in HUGE chunks and still puts a cheesy grin on the face!!! I was just talking to a friend and was saying that getting back into it after driving only the GTR for a week, it's somehow managed to revitalise the love for the Rado, I dunno how that works but it has. It's sparked up the level of motivation that I had when I first got the Rado. I'm completely mystified how the hell this is possible but thats how I'm feeling. Long live the Rado!! :D
  7. Many of you may know by now I have just recently bought the new GTR. After driving only the GTR for a week, I took the Rado out yesterday, and to my very pleasant surprise, I actually realised that I missed driving the Rado. Clearly everyone can figure out the GTR is miles ahead of the Rado in pretty much every dept, its in a massively different league but the driving pleasure to be had from the Rado is really something very special! My car at the moment isn't in the best condition, needs a few things done which I just cant get around to doing for one reason or another, and even with it running a little "ill", it's still such an amazing drive! For a very short period, I considered getting rid of the Rado and only keeping the GTR as it does everything so damn well, and I mean everything, but after taking the Rado out again, it's slapped me about and I'm now fully convinced, it would have to be a "life or death" situation for me to consider selling the Rado. I'll sink thousands into it before considering selling!!! Consider yourselves very lucky to be owning one very special car, I do!
  8. Thanks mate :) congrats on getting your house done, I love toys, whether they be in the car or in the house, you must be enjoying them, good man!! :D
  9. Thank you. :) I took a friend out last night, I'm between 300-600 miles now, which means in gears 4, 5 & 6 I can depress the throttle more than in between 0-300miles but still not fully depress it. In 4th gear, from 30mph, applying 40% throttle (so said the guage), my friend was looking for the "jesus handles", and he's been in quick cars, his brother has a 996 Turbo. I'm loving this car, a WHOLE lot!! :D
  10. Nah mate, it's always interesting to read your posts :)
  11. Aw that is a shame, never mind, rather than you have the burden, I'm sure someone here will gladly take your Rado off your hands, to help ease the burden
  12. I have that little mini spy cam thingy, will get it sorted out and post up some stuff when I am past the running in stage :D :norty:
  13. 5points come off in Jan 2011, so fingers crossed that will make a difference to my next insurance year. This thing will get me into trouble though
  14. Hehe, 9 points on my license, £2k insurance with 5yrs NCB... Mr Juan Sheet, you DEFINITELY need to have this car on your list!!
  15. The car is in a whole new league compared to anything I have ever driven (including a 996 911 Turbo to name but one), and I have driven quite a few high performance cars. I passed the 300mile mark yesterday (according to the GTR technician, no revving above 3500rpm in any gear until 300miles & very easy on the throttle, between 300-600 miles you can rev higher than 3500rpm in gear 4, 5 & 6 and can depress the throttle pedal a little more - still not fully depressing). In 4th gear, pressing the throttle 40% (said the guage on the screen) the acceleration is just savage!!!! I cant wait till after the optimisation service after 1200miles when I can give it the full welly! :D  Still getting a lot of looks although some of the looks are "you're a b@stard for having that car" but I guess I can't expect everyone to be happy eh. Didnt come waxed from the dealer which I'm dissappointed about so gonna give it a good clean come this weekend and hopefully get proper pics up too :)
  16. This car is absolutely amazing mate!!! Seriously, if you all lived in Dundee, I would take you all out in it!!!
  17. The car gives you sooooo much confidence in the corners, such solidity in the chassis, the feedback, you can almost tell what each wheel doing is. I love that you can hear the gearchanges, you can hear the turbos spooling up, the whine of the turbos, the direct steering. And the looks/stares you get from people, I've not had as many looks at the Corrado in the last 5 years as I've had in the GTR in last 24hours. I stopped at Tesco 24hrs last night and one of the guards came up "What car is that then", "GTR", "wow, I bet I'd even get a sh@g if I had one of them" hahahaha   And bloody 'ell its WIDE!!!
  18. Here you are me mateys! Picked it up yesterday at 4.30pm, GTR technician went through with me a few things, which was nice. Guys, I dont have the words to explain how good the car is. Everything is just so tight, the gearbox is amazingly efficient & smooth, you hear it click clacking away changing gears, the whirr of the flywheels, the deep note of the exhaust at low revs. I have to be "nice" with the car for the first 1200miles :( First 300miles, no revving above 3500 (to see where 3k rpm was in 6th gear it sits at 90mph), so I just set it to 70mph yesterday & set it to cruise, all the way home, was really enjoying the drive to the extent where I thought I want to set the cruise speed to 65mph cos I dont want the journey to end. Any questions welcomed hahaha
  19. Thanks for the best wishes guys, seriously I appreciate it a lot. I was a little reluctant at first to even mention it in case some people thought I was showing off or rubbing your noses in or whatever other stuff people come up with but the only reason I'm sharing it is cos I wanna share my joy. I'm very excited & the fact you guys are happy for me makes me even happier. Lol, ok speech over! Shall keep this thread updated with pictures :D
  20. I'm leaving in 4hours, a 1hr 20min train journey, then I get picked up by the garage and then WOOHOO!!!
  21. Every other car (including the GTR) will come & go, the C will stay forever :D
  22. Oh I read that, left a horrible taste in the mouth haha
  23. Haha, I'm trying to limit my costs (says he who buys a GTR :cuckoo: ) and here's you adding stuff to the list!
  24. I know about the running costs, which are not good, and yeh, parking it is a proper b!tch. Thats why I went for the rear parking sensors hehehe. It's not gonna be my main car, the Corrado's for that so I'm hoping the running costs wont hit me too hard, guess we'll find out soon enough eh. Yeh I went for the Black Edition aswell :D
