Lamborghinis and Bugatti Veyron at VW in Milton Keynes
Trig replied to Andy665's topic in General Car Chat
It's been ok so far, I got a nice Veyron cap sent to me. ;) :-P -
LOL! - I knew the screws would move in. I like the CF muppet.
-
southcoast VW chairman, please don't fill up the thread with inane babbling, it looks untidy and will only get deleted. Typical Corrado owner actually thinks more about their Corrado than their hair I think you'll find. ;)
-
I don't think I understood what he said. marty_vr6, looking nice (from what I can see) under the bonnet as well. Like the wide stance. Lets have some more pictures though please!
-
10, 60, 11, 61, 12... and so on perhaps. Crap I know but I can't see what else they can do without overhauling it again!
-
Maybe a forum member in Manchester could check it out for you..? Check the Corrado Pre-Viewing thread. It is worth travelling if it is exactly what you want, I didn't and a paid over the odds for my car even though it is just right for me. HTH

Yeh that is a bugger and one of those things you'll always notice when looking at the car. Have you still not sorted out your running issues?
-
Welcome to the forum. Depends how much it's for sale for really? Sounds like the work will need to be done on it.
-
Hello & Welcome... We've got speed humps in Wadebridge and I don't have a problem with them at all lowered 30/40mm. Haven't been in a multi story since having it done but I reckon there could be slight 'issues' with the front splitter. My front splitter is already cracked so wouldn't be the end of the world. I'll just avoid the car parks. I got mine done at Stealth Racing up t'country.

Dammit.. missed that one. I'm sorry master, I have failed you. ;)
-
Yeh you might want to get one of the Yellow top Optima batteries to go with it. :)
-
Ah thats's a shame mate. I wouldn't have trusted it either I don't think...
-
Another recommendation for RK Engineering, http://www.rk-engineering.co.uk/ . Where in Cornwall are you? Seem to be a lot of Corado owners around here these days.
-
Don't worry mate, you wont have to pay a penny. I had a similar thing and it kept me up at nights worrying about it. My father in law is a solicitor and he told me not to worry explained it all. Your insurance company will sort it, that's why we pay them. If you dispute it however you'll need to see your solicitor and you will probably have to go to court.

IIRC you'll need new rear bump stops as well. The tracking will need to be done after the setup has been fitted.
-
I think the Karmann kit it came with is the best.. ;)
-
Nice :) Added it to the Wiki.
-
Lanceevox, sounds like you need your gears fiddling with by someone. Changing the gearbox oil might help as well.
-
IIWM (If it was me ;) ) i'd hang on and keep checking the classifieds on here, some real bargains come up all the time! For 5k you should be able to get something very nice. Think about it your goinna have to fork out almost £200 to tax it for a year as soon as you've bought it! :)
-
If you are actually selling a goof it may benefit you to change the title of your ad mate. Also i'd get some pictures up as well or at least specify what colour it is etc. These things all help, good luck! ;) Also, if you are interested in buying a Corrado take a look at the Corrado Buying Guide & Checklist in the Wiki.

Surely if the car is (for example) stolen from your new address and it was registered at another it would invalidate your policy?
-
Dont'cha just love Mythbusters :) Was thinking about aircon today when stuck in my mums stuffy landrover. Might look into it when i've got some more cash.

Seen 2 on my travels. Red L710 *** Near Ipswich, had a 911 turbo behind it @ 5.30ish yesterday (tuesday). Classic Green (I think) C today (Wednesday) on the M3 today heading on to M25, didn't catch anything else as I was heading the other way, possibly this one.. -
Yeh the MK2 with steelies looks very good actually :)

Kev, let us know of any tips for spraying the mirrors, i'd like to have a go at that, mine have a few chips on them.
