    ast0311, not usually but I will be this year! When I do drive mine I take it out for a good 20mins and make sure I warm the whole car up properly, don't take it out if its wet either.

    Well the battery wont have enough charge to start it after 10-15 days (depending on condition of battery), so you'd have to charge it if you left it longer. I drive mine once every 10 days at the moment and it starts first time but turns over a few times. Most important thing when storing it is to keep it dry, use a dehumidifier or a load of salt.

    Everytime I buy something for the car it's always in the back of my head how much i've already spent. I'm on something like £2k in 7 months, not including fuel, insurance etc.

    Looks very nice (apart from the grille), is the petrol flap a different colour or is it just the light. Like the RS5's, they suit the colour. Not sure about the steering wheel either.

    I was thinking about attempting it while my car is off the road and recording it all on slow capture. Don't think I am good enough with a spanner though, i'd just be following the guide and hoping for the best! Not sure if my garage is big enough either.

    Yeh exactly. I'm glad someone else has done it 'cos it's cool, but wouldn't ever be practical to do myself!

    VR's do 'use' oil mine gets through a litre about every 3000 miles which is acceptable. If it's using more than a litre every 1000 miles then it might be something to get concerned about. Can depend on what oil you are using as well.

    I usually wax after wash but I only wash once every month or two... or is that quite often?! I'm cleaning out my interior today mainly because I just bought a little vacuum especially for it.
