  1. I've had 12's in the past and found my current 15" kicker smoother. Seen this audiobahn sub and it looks pretty mean but need 1100rms to drive it!!!!. UK importers only up the road too. May have to see if they are willing to do a deal.
  2. Good call, like the sound of that amp. Good price, plenty of power. I read their subs are the awesome, any other reviews of there amps?
  3. Just looked at them, signal to noise ratio is 90dB. That poor for the money.
  4. I'm driving a 3 way 125wrms component system up front (6.5", 4", 1") 6"x4" at the rear (i'll drive these of the head unit) and a 15" 500rms sub. Am i best buying a 2 channel amp and a seperate mono single channel or getting a single multi channel amp. I really like kicker gear but there new amps aren't show'y enough for my car so looking at Rockfords new P series (will polish and chrome nicely) or DLS. Open to any other recommendations circ £500ish. Audiobahn looks the dogs but hear there abit bright sounding. Also sub-wise, thinking 15" or two 12's what do you think are the best options for around £250. Again like the audiobahn subs, guess the bright sound does matter with a sub? Or stick with Kicker solobaric.
  5. Anyone know of a company which can make different coloured seat belts?
  6. Love it. Colour and wheels are spot on for me. Can't wait to see it in the metal.
  7. Probably not far wrong  . I'd guess theres 100kg of leather in there, 15 rolls of dynamat + 12mm thick felt. But you can only here wind noise at any speed, ooh and the induction kit when giving it some. Install to go in yet. Good job i've got plans for big power :D .
  8. Hmmmm, it would be wasted in a mk2
  9. I don't mind the silver headlamp surrounds. OK if i had a silver C i wouldn't do it but i think they are fine on Gareth's car and freshen up the front abit. Got to remember compared to european C's UK car's are pretty boring so anything different is worth a pat on the back from me.
  10. Yes, cut the holes today and dynamatted the doors. Not convinced there really 6.75". Probably 6.5" + marketing blurb about cone area. Pics of one of the doors in my member gallery post. Got to go get some screws now to fit the speakers.
  11. Started working on a couple of my C's weak areas. No1 being sounds, rest of the shell is dynamatted already but didn't have time to do the doors. Each door took 3 rolls!! Boot build pics to follow.
  12. The tyre sizes are all wrong. 215/35/17 at the front 225/35/17 at the back. You will need your arches rolling.
  13. Sounds like your trying to talk yourself into grinding the lips away on your own C. Phat got his done properly for £450, its worth it.
  14. The nicest wheel's i've ever seen :D Looking great but needs lowering more!!
  15. Still say roll them. It's cheaper to grind them now and touch them up but 12 months down the line when the paint starts to bubble 10mm away from the edge (think its the heat which causes this) you'll wish you'd done the job properly. BTW, Daz yates had his arches rolled at premier and they didn't crack the paint.
  16. Nah, roll them back. If your going to do it, do it properly.
  17. My vote goes to BluSLC. Some very nice subtle cars on here OSV's, Asims, biggerbigneils, etc but for me Suhk's hasn't held back and created a jaw dropper. PhatVR6 and biggerbigben are going to impress us next year.
  18. cheers mate i'll check them, out also seen some diamond 4" speakers on ebay but they have a cast chassis so my speaker grille may not re-fit.
  19. which is best for under £200. Ideally with near 100rms power handling.
  20. their free air midbass so don't need to be sealed. The doors will be completely dynamatted as kickers really err, kick. Price wise their £170rrp, got them for £120 from one of the direct sell companies in the back of max power mag.
  21. I've just order Kicker SSMD6's for mine. Basically i heard the kicker demo truck at Donny a couple of years ago and loved the sound even tho' it was playing FM radio at the time. There also a 6.75" and 120rms so loads of power available. Next up will be a 4" component set from DLS.
  22. cheers, i'm well chuffed with it, loving it more and more. Think i'm going to completely flush the front bumper too so make the car even smoother. Still got to photograph it next to a standard car too. See what i can do a Ragley tomorrow. Already getting rev'd up for next season.
  23. Chris has told me off for posting pics which are too small. Hope these are better. My excuse is i'm on dial up. Hmmm still not great res. I'll try again later.
  24. cheers Chris :D . Its been well worth the hard work. Found some comments harsh but think it was definately worth going for it and i hope people will be abit braver with there C projects. I consider mine to be very tame/subtle in the grand scheme of things too. P.S I'll post the wallpapers here tonight
