  1. Visablity is ok, would say its better than standard ones tho. The mirrors sit lower than the std ones so the passenger one is slightly obscurred by the door. On the plus side there more aerodynamic than the brick-like factory mirrors.
  2. Daren't answer that one. The car's body and interior has been modified to a std you'd expect from Brabus or Gamballa but i bet i haven't payed close to what their customers do. Its was very expensive but everything is relative and i think i've got amazing value for money.
  3. Don't know the part no as their on the car now. Still you shouldn't have any trouble asking a dealer for a rhd 993 base and gasket. Trick with porker mirrors is to get them sat right on the doors. Not 100% happy with mine but there better than all but one car i've seen with them on. Definiately better than corrado mirrors if you look at it side by side with a std C IMO.
  4. I had the same problem. Had to return it and buy from the dealers. You will need a new fuel level sender too @ £60ish.
  5. The seats look very upright in the bottom pic. Wife been driving it? Very sweet car tho'.
  6. I'm interested Hi-Spec, depends on how soon the GB would be. Bit skint at the minute but was looking to get some before christmas. There the best looking brakes i've seen.
  7. Do you mean between the MAF and the throttlebody? I'm after one manufacturing to replace the rubber pipe. The ABD looks abit naff and doesn't fit properly from what i've heard. Good luck making it perfect, still working on that one myself.
  8. Cheek, thats custom made matey. :)
  9. cheers guys. Thought about making my own loom as a tempory measure (i'm currently using a battery charge to adjust them). I'd like vw loom once the money situation improves. Where do i connect the the loom too? Fuse box?
  10. MJ's finest no doubt 8) 8) love that interior Lee 8) 8) 8) 8) Agreed, its a higher spec than the A6 PVS which was pretty special. Its also distinctly my theme and very different than the std magnolia trims UK showcars tend to go for. Car's much slower tho' probably 100kg of leather in it. Those seats really squeeze you and i'm no fatty. Should have floor mats in this week. :)
  11. Will a golf loom work? My seats aren't heated.
  12. For the pair or each?
  13. Seeking abit of advise from the recaro experts among us. I've got my new Recaro SR's in on factory recaro subframes but i haven't got the looms. Are this available from the dealers? Were does the loom plug into? Is there a connector under the carpet or does the loom go to the fuse box? TIA
  14. How are you getting around the old problem of aftermarket seats not sitting low enough in a C?
  15. Couple of interior pics, finally got some factory recaro electric subframes so they sit nice and low :D And there electric! Dash undertrays will be trimmed biscuit but black looks ok too. Hmm
  16. Hmmm, saw some interesting wheels on a coffin dodgers 993 cab for sale on ebay. Am i warm?
  17. Its been there for 5 years, 'bout time you took it off then! Whats wrong with club gti? My favourite shows are the Club Mega meets. Great bunch of people. Would be nice to have a couple of CCGB mega meets, one north one south in the years when theres no national day
  18. Thats what i thought when you posted pic. I'll have to photoshop some different options now.
  19. Mirror'd window tints and loads of other stuff i can't afford yet.
  20. Guess what OSV does for a livin'
  21. I think it will look better on RH's too. Prefer BBS on dark metallics.
  22. Cheers, you could always tint a set of inpro completely red. Thinking about tinting mine. What do you think yes/no?
  23. Lee- Dont you fancy fitting 9s on the front?, brand new replacement outer rims for zw1s on german ebay are only about £100 each[/quote:5a33d] I'd like them, but got absolutely no money :( . Kid you not, i'm borrowing petrol money. Not done that since i was a student, A20 LEE got completely out of control and i couldn't cut any corners. Hopefully santa claus will bring me some
  24. Once there on check the clearance between the wheel rim and the rear strut with the car on the ground ie. lookin up into the wheel arch from behind the car. They sit really close. I had to use a 3mm spacer for a bit of breathing space. Never seen RH's on a silver car before, can't wait to see it.
