Trying to find Dunlop SP2000 205/50 15 tyres to no avail?
ChrisL replied to Dazza Storm's topic in Suppliers Forum
Hi Darren, I was going to look for a pair of Dunlop SP2000's to go with them but didnt realise they were hard to get hold of. I like all tyres to match on the car so the best thing will be for me to sell them and buy 4 new tyres. So basically, yes I will sell them. I've just had a quick check and there is about 5mm from the bottom of the groove to the edge of the tyre. If they are any good to you, make an offer cos I really dont konw. Chris -

Hi, I have a pair with decent tread. Chris -
Sent the manifold back to the blasters to have a finer blast done as he said it would make it a bit brighter, hopefully I can then match the cover easier. Who knew it would be this complicated! Cheers, yeah good meeting you. Cheers, It looks like i'm still going although I'm not putting it on the rollers. drop me a message closer to the time.

sent my winter wheels refurbishing a coupel of weeks ago and picked them up on Friday. Really pleased with them. under normal light they are quite dark, when the sun shines on them the metallic really jumps out!!! tried to get it with the flash. Just need 2 tyres.

Excuse my ignorance, is the manifold painted or shotblasted?

I am definately doing it silver but wasn't sure if anyone new of the correct silver to use, i.e can you buy aluminium look or is there a ford colour that looks original? Thanks, going to put an airline on it at work tomorrow and give it a good going over!

Not sure, maybe sand blasted. It was done by someone who does stuff for me at work, gonna have a look on monday and see what its like. He says its like a fresh casting. Should it have been vapour blasted? Any ideas on what silver goes best?

Been having my spare inlet manifold blasted.. get it back Monday to check the finish. Not sure if its right or if its just the photo. What colour spray should I go for on the engine cover please?

Thanks guys! I think the car has been re-trimmed from cloth including the original seats, Bill then bought a set of the Recaros and had them done to match the existing leather. I still have the original Corrado seats in the garage!

Cheers! I think the wheel is a momo club 4? the momo gearknob will be coming off though as I'm not keen.

Anybody in or near Hull with a VAGCOM please? My ABS light occasionally comes on and want to get it sorted!

Stopped on my way home to take a few shots, you'll have to excuse the dirt!

Is there a way to restore the standard air filter box and get it looking like new?

Thanks for all the comments, good to know peoples thoughts on it and I cant believe the attention it gets, I had someone taking photos of it on the A1/M last week in the traffic. I don't think I will have any problems keeping it in the condition its in, I have an OCD when it comes to keeping cars clean. Shame I bought it now at the end of the show season, roll on next year! I wanted to make my own mark on it by putting the engine bay back to standard but I do so much like the polished inlet and engine cover!

Hi, I bought a Blackberry VR6 on Friday! Lets see somepics too.

Amazing Corrado and after a 13 hour round trip, its now tucked up in my garage! Thanks for your time yesterday Bill, car really is as good as you said it was and it drove flawless. Don't worry it will be well looked after and if you can make it to any shows next year, make sure you pop over for a chat.

Stunning corrado, just been through all the pics. Could P/X it with my BMW 120D msport, 177BHP and 50+ gallon if you like!!

The problem seems to be getting a bit worse now. For instance when I'm driving down the road at 40mph all seems well, i take my foot off the accelerator as I approach a roundabout (or any obstruction). By this time I've slowed down and if I then put my foot down to accelerate away the car kangaroos a few times and then goes. It's really strange and seems different to other peoples 16V problems. The car never cuts out when Idling. Does anyone have any ideas please Chris

What size tyres have you got on it?
