How much are the zimmerman discs as i need discs as well ,and where from ?

Hi all, I'm buying some brake pads from g.s.f. next week..i know a lot of you like the pagid fr pads but what are the standard pagids like ? any good ? Cheers chris.

Popped in to the dealers this morning to pick up a new knock sensor,the outer sleeving is damaged on my old one.......I said how much to pop this in for me pal.....cos my torque wrench as gone awol.........he went to have a word with the mechanic then said £40 quid pal hour job......wasn't in the best mood so i said "get f***ed ya soft c**t" which dint go down well and said c ya not too soon i hope.

I bought four for my G60 last month from the dealers.... part number 191601149.........£18.16 each plus vat........£85.35 total inc.

Nice one paulim. Is it just the green tint at the top of the screen thats available or are there any other colours ? Anybody know ?

I mean a proper noticeable green top strip....like the ones that used to say "kev + bev" back when i was a lad :lol: .

Hi All, I had a new winscreen fitted yesterday,old one had a crack all the way down the middle !.....He Asked me if i wanted a green tint on the top,so i said go on then..... it says saint gobain sekurit in the bottom corner....Good screen ? And were any corrado's fitted with this type of screen from new ? anybody got the same tint ?. Cheers chris.

No i'm not sure its the part i said, could be the one that you say.about £200 for that one right ?. Is it easy to change ?.

Hi all......My reinforcement plate has rusted bad. It's the one under the rad, Part number 535 807 181 £24.78 from stealers. Looks a east bolt on job ? anybody changed theirs ? 91 G60 by the way...Cheers Chris.

Old switch didn't have a o-ring so just thought they didn't have one. durrrrrrr...will pop and get one ..cheers.

Bought a new black temp sensor today from g.s.f for my 91 G60....he assured me it was the right part...anyway its a crap fit and leaks water so i'm sure it's not the right one.(93493)can anybody say if this is right or wrong sensor ? looks slightly different too ,original one is like cone shaped where it goes in ,the g.s.f one is just straight. Also do these sensors have a seal or not ?......anyway can't be bothered to take it back so going to the stealers in the morning for one doed anyone know the right part number ? Cheers chris

Dinks is right on that one ,let it do what it wants to do till ya get grip,except grab the steering wheel with all ya got !....had my Honda blade 90 degrees for over 100 yards at 70 mph when i hit a patch of ice a couple of years ago "god knows to this day how i stopped on".....glad your ok pal...scary stuff :angel:

Used the meguiars quik clay detailing system today.......JESUS....it looks like a brand new car, i can't tell you how good it looks, i've used every t-cut and polish make in my time, but this is brilliant......i strongly recommend this to all !. everbody who has seen the car has commented how good it looks.........polished it with auto glym super resin to finish. didn't think it would look this good..........Stunning. :D

Or pour it through a water filter/pureifier first. no substitute for de-ionised though :) .

I know whats wrong there....when you have your tyres changed you must make sure they scrape off the old bits of rubber where the old tyre was fitted, a good fitter will do it .......90% of em don't. :mad: .A Bad seal is a Common fault through it...watch em change them.

Done my wheels guys,nice job too,very happy with it.....Wurth do a spot on bbs wheel spray and lacquer.......Whoever had my G60 before me did'nt have a deal of patience cleaning em so gave em a blast with a brillo pad or something of the like (ruined em big style). This is the stuff with pics.....£9 a can from wurth uk......(893-351-900 silver) (893-351-930 lacquer) - Tel 08705 987841. Will probably get them refurbished properly next year but in the meantime they look great ! :D .Thanks to olly elworthy for the number.
